Finding out that there were more than three people interested in the humdrum of her life, and willing to stalk her to get video graphic evidence of it began to take its toll on Misa. On the days that followed her discovery, Misa found herself jumping at the slightest sounds when she was alone, and constantly looking over her shoulder whenever she went out in public. She felt as if her nerves were on fire, prone to flare at the smallest incident.
Lee Ryung wasn't helping matters, either. Thanks to his website and daily updated blog, fans and antis alike were well aware of her plans and whereabouts. Not only did it flood the site's ShoutBox with comments, opinions and criticism, but it also made venturing out to finalize said plans a spectator's sport.
For the life of her, Misa couldn't wrap her head around all the excitement now plaguing her life. Over the wedding she could understand it; she was, after all, marrying an idol. But, the excitement that was solely focused on her (by evidence of ParkMisaki.com) left her scratching her head in confusion. Honestly, she couldn't see why so many people were interested in her (other than the fact that she was Cho Kyuhyun's fiancée) or why that would warrant her own website and group of fanboys/stalkers.
"It's ridiculous," Misa was now telling her cousin Young Hei Ryung, as they sat at a table in a small café, "I'm a nobody, just a commoner compared to Kyuhyun. Why waste all that energy on me?" She played with the straw in her smoothie, twirling it in small circles.
Like her cousin, Young Hei Ryung had long, dark hair that hung down her back, and equally dark eyes that complimented her fair skin. Except for the slight difference in eye shape and height (Hei Ryung had a half inch over her younger cousin), the girls were often mistaken for twins. "Maybe their interest in you is sort of an extension of their interest in Kyuhyun," Hei Ryung suggested, taking a sip of her own smoothie. "Maybe they see it as being loyal to him."
"Well, that explains the fans," Misa said, "but, what about the antis?"
At this, Hei Ryung shrugged. "There's always going to be people who have to complain about something," she reasoned.
"And, the fanboys/stalkers?" Misa asked.
"Easy," her cousin answered, grinning, "You're beautiful; it runs in the family!" She winked, making Misa laugh. "Who wouldn't want to stalk you and record you being gorgeous doing even the most boring things in life?" she added.
"Oh, be serious!" Misa laughed, throwing a crumpled up napkin at her.
Hei Ryung easily caught it in her hand. "I am being serious, Kiki!" she said, laughing along with her. "Who knows what goes on in the mind of devoted fan?"
"At this point, I don't want to know," Misa murmured, shaking her head.
"Speaking of excitement," Hei Ryung said, changing the subject, "your mom told me you and Kyuhyun-sshi settled on a venue?"
Misa nodded. "The Botanical Gardens," she answered. "RyRy suggested it after finally agreeing to our wedding date." It had taken a lot of persuasion to convince the wedding planner that April 23rd was definitely the when in the who, why, and where in their wedding planning, but RyRy had finally caved...with a mighty pout.
