Chapter 1: Announcing your engagement

Announcing your engagement should be the first thing you do after he slips that ring on your finger. ~SoRi

Parents should know first, then your friends. If it happens the other way around, then you're dead! ~JooLi

It should be announced in a family setting; preferably not at a funeral or at a relative's wedding. Especially not at a relative's wedding! ~SoRi

Haha! You would know, SoRi! ~Hye Bin

Ahem! But, try to have the announcement be unique; each couple is different! ~SunRi

But, not so unique that it seems like you're trying to show up someone who got engaged at the same time...Ae Young! ~Hye Bin

That wasn't my fault! Which brings me to the next point: If your fiancée seems like he's up to something, be very, very wary! ~ Ae Young

2 Years Later

In the large baking area located in the back of Eden's Bakery, Misa Park stared at the cake in front of her, trying to determine why it looked so lop-sided. She'd just spent the last five minutes walking around her work table, staring at the four tier creation, baffled as to why it seemed to lean slightly to the right from any angle she stared at it.

"You keep glaring at it like that, you're gonna set it on fire!" a voice teased, breaking her concentration.

Breaking her gaze from the baffling cake, Misa smiled as she watched Kyuhyun stroll into the room, his familiar smirk on his face. "Hi!" she greeted, placing her left hand on his cheek as she kissed him. The one-carat diamond ring on her ring finger sparkled under the bakery's lights.

One arm snaked around her waist, pulling her slightly against him as he kissed her back. "Hi," he said, grinning. "So, what did the cake do to offend you?" He nodded towards the object in question.

She gestured to it with one hand. "Look at it!" she protested, frustrated she couldn't figure it out. "I swear, it's lop-sided!" She turned back to the cake, folding her arms across her chest as she continued to stare at it.

From over her shoulder, Kyuhyun squinted at it. "Are you sure?" he asked, chuckling.

She swatted his shoulder. "Stop laughing!" she scolded him, though she was trying hard not to smile. When he chuckled again, she rolled her eyes. "I'll figure it out!" she promised. She took another glance at the cake, slightly tilting her head to the right, then turned back to her fiancée. "So, what brings you here?" she asked. "I thought you had schedules today?" Super Junior M's activities for their fourth album had ended just the week before, and promotions for Kyuhyun's first solo album were about to kick off.

"I do," he answered. "I just wanted to stop by and make sure you listened to the show today." Since Leeteuk's entrance into the military a few weeks ago, Shindong had been persuaded to join up with Eunhyuk to keep Sukira Kiss the Radio going; the pair was now proving to be just as popular as when Eunhyuk had worked with Leeteuk.

"Oh? Are you revealing a new side today?" she teased. "I think dorKyu is long overdue."

He rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Ha-ha, angel!" he said. "Besides, it wouldn't matter; the fans love me no matter what."

"Keep telling yourself that, Kyu," she murmured, then yelped when he playfully slapped her butt.

He laughed at her shocked expression. "Anyway, please listen today," he announced. "I think you might get a kick out of it."
