A/N: Sorry for the lack of update; with the holidays rolling around, life has been crazy! Here's the next chapter; please enjoy!

If Leeteuk could, he would pack up his meager pile of belongings from his bunk locker and say good-bye to his military status; that was how concerned he was when he received Heechul’s email with the shocking news about Misa. Luckily for him, he’s not alone in the communal rec room (I don’t feel like being tackled to the ground by men bigger than me, he thinks), using the small amount of leisure time to catch up on his emails and whatnot.

It’s a complete shock, to say the least, reading those words, all capitalized and screaming at him, telling him of the insane fanboy that had broken into Kyuhyun and Misa’s apartment and stabbed his little sister almost to death.

He remembers his whole body going numb as he reads and re-reads the email numerous times (the internal reading voice in his head taking on a definite Heechul screech to it), his mind refusing to believe it. It’s only when he clicks on the links Heechul has provided, leading him to the several news sites, headlines screaming about Misa’s attack, does it finally sink in.

I leave for the military and this is what happens? He thinks to himself, guiltily. What’s happening to my family?

*********************************************

Heechul is ready to kill someone.

He really wants to strangle the bastard that stabbed his little sister and left her unconscious in a hospital bed, but that damn Detective Shin refuses to let him near the police station, much less the holding cells. Heechul has no answers as to why or whom, and that frustrates him beyond any sanity he desperately clings to.

Leeteuk leaving for the military essentially puts him, as the next oldest, in charge of their dongsaengs. Heechul will be the first to admit that he has none of the leadership skills that Leeteuk does, but the position has fallen to him, whether he likes it or not.

He worries that with everything that’s been happening to Misa and Kyuhyun, he’s failing both Leeteuk and the other members. He won’t admit his worries though, knowing he has to stay strong for everyone else. It’s what a leader does, and for now, it’s the only thing he can do.

But, he still wants to kill someone.

Hankyung doesn’t know what to do.

His entire family is in chaos and it’s a feeling that he does not like. He tries to occupy himself, but there are far too many people in the dorm now (and since when did the dorm feel so small?), mulling about, looking worried, so Hankyung has taken to long walks along the Han River.

It’s where he can walk aimlessly, his body on auto-pilot as his thoughts consume his brain, rendering him oblivious to everything around him. He mainly thinks of Kyuhyun, the little brother he never thought he’d have, and how the magnae seems to be crumbling before his eyes.

Hankyung can remember a similar time that Kyuhyun seemed to be falling apart, when Misa broke up with him, seemingly for no reason at all. The magnae had retreated into himself, functioning as little as possible, but ultimately shutting down. It’s interesting to Hankyung that these two instances are directly affiliated with Misa, but it’s also enlightening.

It tells Hankyung how much in love Kyuhyun is with Misa. And from the way everyone is reacting to her almost dying, it also tells Hankyung how much Misa is loved by her oppas.
