Down The Block (EddMatt)

Grateful

                    The end of school bell rang and the day flew really get by for Edd, he was so happy to return the sheet to Jon. Even though Edd didn't know him too well, he seemed kind and Edd wanted to be his friend. Edd met up with Mark in the hallway who had the sheet and asked if Edd could show him where Jon's locker was. Edd couldn't remember the number but he remembered the hallway. Edd lead him down the hallway and they saw Jon getting his things. Edd walked up to him and poked his shoulder getting a good jump out of Jon. 

         "Oh! Edd, it's you." Jon smiled oddly sounding relieved. Edd gave Jon a smile and said,

         "This is Mark. He use to be Eduardo's friend, he got the sheet back and wanted to give it to you." Edd announced as Mark pulled out the sheet from his jacket pocket. 

Jon happily took it back and looked at Mark with a great fun smile and chirped, 

        "Thank you so much!! If I get it in by tomorrow, I'll be able to try out!!" He looked so grateful and happy.

        "Say Jon," Edd raised and eyebrow, "what are your lunch plans tomorrow?"

        "The usual.. Eating in the hallway.." Jon gave a tiny forced smile.

        "You know you don't have to eat alone. You could hang out with us!" Edd smiled warmly.

        "Oh I'd love that very much!! I owe you guys one, thanks again!" Jon called as he walked down the hallway.

        "I wonder why he was so relieved when he knew it was me..." Edd mumbled as they went to find Matt. 

        "I wouldn't be surprised if Eduardo threatened the poor guy." Mark growled rolling his eyes.

        "That would make sense, knowing him." Edd sighed.  

        "Good thing you invited him to hang out with us, maybe once he starts spending time with us that shithead will leave him alone." 

                The two of them spotted Matt and then without waiting up for Eduardo they all headed out of the school, and then on their way home.

(Sorry for the short chapter it's one thirty in the morning and I'm exhausted lol. I know I'll be posting all these chapters at once but I'm still gonna try really hard on a longer chapter tomorrow)
