The whole mansion was in hustle bustle as the day was too damn important to afford a mistake. Today, two love birds were about to give an official name to their relationship. Today, Kabir and Navya, were about to get engaged. The respective families were ready to acceptpt their son in law and daughter in law respectively and the happiness on their faces was clearly evident. It was officially love season in the household!
Navya was getting ready for the function, and her mother was staring at her from the door. As she turned after being properly dolled up, Rukmini ji, her mother could not stop the lone tear drop that was threatening to fall from a long time.
" I can't believe it's your engagement today", she said patting her daughter's forehead while Navya smiled at her, trying to hide her own emotions and tears! She was happy about getting married to the man of her dreams, but wasn't it coupled with the sadness of having to leave her own home too? While the mother daughter were getting emotional, Nandini came running in to check whether all were ready only to find them getting sentimental.

" My pretty bride, your groom is going to reach any minute now, and here you are busy spoiling your expensive make-up?", Nandini frowned, melodramatically, earning chuckles from the mother daughter duo, who then quickly fixed themselves for the function, laughing at each other's ruined eye makeup, while Nandini made sure they were on time. Soon, they were all ready to leave.
The engagement venue was an open garden, with the entrance beautifully made up of lilies and carnations, just like Navya had wanted. She had told Nandini that she wanted a flower based engagement, and had a rough idea in her mind too, while Nandini and Manik had promised her to make it all come true.
On the sides, there were two fountains, with a long thread that was tied between the entrance and the stage, depicting the most cherishable moments of Kavya's life,hanging down, giving it a heart warming appearance. It made it look more cozy and homely, and Navya could not stop gushing about it.
Coming inside, the interiors were also well coordinated and awesome to look at. Flower hangings at regular intervals, a few show pieces of trees and bouquet were arranged randomly only to give it all a more gushy feel.
Smiling an ear to ear smile, Navya looked at an anxious Nandini who was waiting for her approval, biting her nails, and Navya out of nowhere came and hugged Nandini tight.
" You made my special day way more special with your effort, thank you so much!", Navya spoke into the hug while Nandini patted her back and broke the hug with a content smile.
" Your thank you can wait, for right now, someone else is getting impatient on the stage", she teased Navya with a wink. On the stage was the dashing Mr bridegroom,waiting for her angel to walk up to him.
