~ Life is not always that difficult, little things of joy are always around~
Kabir's words had left Nandini pondering over them for a really long time. She knew he was right. And she realized that he was also right about Manik, leaving him later would be terrible for both of them. But then she could not fall in love, she was certain about that much. It was not like she did not believe in love, she had believed in love since forever. Love stories were always her favorite genre, but sometimes you may believe in somethings but still can't let them affect you. Reality is way different from imagination, books and movies have no connection with real life.
On the other hand Kabir knew Nandini would probably overthink about whatever he said, but then it was important for her to let go off her own boundaries. After all you have one life and you need to cherish the opportunity and hence Kabir wanted Nandini to come out of her own restricted walls.
Unaware of the tsunami that he had brought in life of two people, Manik was busy wrapping up his work because next week he had to attend his best friend's birthday and he didn't wish to be disturbed due to professional reasons.
The week passed in a jiffy for all three of them. Kabir had to arrange everything in lonawla for not only it was his birthday, he had actually planned to propose his lady love, Navya. Navya and Kabir had been working together for an year. Following a completely filmy track, the journey that started with their fights turned into friendship and finally blossomed into love. Kabir was all set to propose her and was visibly nervous. Although Nandini had tried to calm him, she couldn't really succeed.
Nandini had applied for a leave of three days and had reached Lonavla by Sunday evening. She had already befriended Navya and looking at both of them no one could tell they met just a few hours ago. They looked like soul sisters who had met after ages. Kabir was very happy to see this growing bond between them.
By the time Manik wrapped up his work and left for lonavla, it was early evening. Since his PA was already on leave and even he would not attend office for atleast 3 days it had been hectic for him. But eventually everything had been settled and now he was free and enjoying driving with his favourite songs playing on the music system. By the time he parked in front of the farm house it was 10 pm. He tiptoed in the house expecting everyone to be asleep since he was so late. He kept the luggage aside when some loud noises coming from upstairs caught his attention. He slowly went towards the source of noise and found the door of the room slightly ajar. He peeped in and was astonished at the sight.
Kabir was standing facing him with his right hand held high up and had a chocolate in his hand. A girl probably in her early twenties was standing facing her back towards him and was actually stumping her foot on the floor and trying to get the chocolate. Another girl was sitting, actually not sitting, she was rolling on the couch to control her laughter. Kabir was in no mood to give that girl the chocolate.
" Kabirrrr! Please let me have the choclate", the girl again tried to snatch it from him, but the voice stopped Manik in his tracks. Why did it seem he had heard it before?
" Nopity. I don't want to see my friend getting fat unnecessarily", Kabir teased.
" I won't get fat Kabir, please. Pretty please...", She begged this time.
"Nopes. By the way it's damn tasty you know!", Kabir made a dreamy face irritating her.
" Fine, don't talk to me", she stomped her feet again and crossed her arms over her chest.
Manik could not help but smile at the cute conversation going on, and then he noticed a chocolate lying on the table near the entrance. He picked it up and entered the room.
