Kristopher's POV
Alec have sad eyes, eyes that make me sad but the sadness seems like it's pushing through, like trying to come out and make itself known. Something that doesn't make sense. Maybe I've been an ass to him but someone has to, he walks around with his head high and broad shoulders straight, with his black intense eyes and set jaw, with his flawless skin and intimidating posture, with his loaded parents and designer clothes and different cars. yes Alec seem to have it all but I know better and I've noticed.
I've noticed how at war he seems to always be with himself, noticed the constant struggle behind his eyes and smirks. Noticed how some days he looks all timid and scared.
“dumbass are you sure you ain't doing this cause you don't wanna miss me?” I said with a wink. I heard Jesse chuckling.
Alec took a glance at me then turned his gaze back to the road. “You passed out and for someone who's drunk, your words are clear.” He looks tired. I sigh and adjusted myself.
“Maybe I'm not that drunk.”
“then care to tell me why Bennett was on your ass?” He said grinding his teeth so hard I was afraid he's gonna cause his mouth to have a mini explosion.
I turned to him and opened my mouth to speak but swallowed em back when my eyes met his. Does his eyes have to be this intense? I cleared my throat and looked away totally forgetting that Jesse is in the car with us.
“Alec please keep your eyes on the road, his fine piece of ass ain't going anywhere tonight big brother.” She said smirking. I groaned in embarrassment.
“Twat I asked you a question.” I sighed. And he's back.
“I don't answer to you, you cat!” I retorted both of us ignoring Jesse.
“You do now.” Not being in the mood to argue, I just sigh and slump back into the seat.
“It's because we were going to kiss and he got jealous.” Alec scoffed like I just said something ridiculous.
“That's absurd, just tell me the real reason.”
“I am really, he has like the biggest crush on you and everyone knows except you because you choose to be dead to everyone and everything thing excluding Jesse so maybe if you're not so closed off you'll notice how people actually care for you.”
Truth is I don't know what got me this bothered and I know I shouldn't have said all that but it's already said.
“Do you have a problem with me Kris?” I shook my head. “I don't Jesse, I really don't, it's just so frustrating how closed off Alec is and doesn't seem to care bout nothing.” Of course I know that's not true.
She goes quiet and the car got filled with silence once again. “But you know he's not really like that right? He just doesn't show people his real self, he has a different side.”
I know this isn't the right place to start a conversation because Alec is here with us and why the fuvk is this ride taking so long?
“I care, probably more than I should but I do.” His voice was quiet and didn't elaborate but he just confirm what I knew all along.
Alec Peters is one big soft work but I didn't really know how true Jesse's words held.
