Emotions. Emotions are beautiful yet dangerous. They can tame or make a person run wild and right now Alec is full of them. Full of anger and hatred for his father, full of love for his sister, full of confusion for Kristopher and he just can't
deal.“The fuck you going Peters?” That annoying voice asked. Alec turned to face him, his body shaking slightly from the intensity of his emotions. Kristopher visibly shudder and shrunk back into the sheets.
“Don't!!” Alec managed to grunt out and jumped out of the window. so many thoughts running through his mind, for starters how he'd love to cut out his fathers balls and feed it to him, remove his brain and shove it far up his wife's ass and drown Daniel in his own blood. Well the last one not really true but still.
He got to the stadium in no time and got on track. He wasn't jogging. No. He was running. Running because he feels lost, running because underneath that anger is a teen begging to be loved and accepted, running because he feels suffocated and longs to be free. Free like the cold wind biting through his skin. Running because it gives him a sense of purpose. Running because he can let his tears flow without care.
He smelt the cologne before he heard the faint laboured breathing of someone trying to catch up with him and smiled sadly to himself. Smiled because he knows who wears that cologne and sadly because he isn't supposed to know that.
“W-when d-did you ga-in the fuc-ki-ing speed of a cheetah?!” Kristopher finally managed to rasp out through his laboured breathing. Alec didn't say a word but slowed down.
It's hard to be yourself when nobody wants to see you. Really see you but who actually is he? Alec didn't have the answer to that. Kristopher understands the baggage that comes with being emotional and he also understands the need to cover it up.
Kristopher ran with him, both going on full speed, their movement in sync. Tho tired, Kristopher refuse to back down. Seeing Alec so angry scared him. It's the expression he never wants to see again and knew whatever got him so worked up had to be serious.
After Alec got out through his window, Jesse sneaked into his room a crying mess. She hates it when they fight especially when it's because of her. Kristopher had to console his sister. Jesse didn't seem surprised that Alec wasn't in his room which lead Kristopher to believe this was a regular thing in the Peters family so Kristopher cuddled Jesse till she fell asleep in her brothers bed.
They both slowed down, both panting heavily with sweats dripping down their faces and sticking their bodies.
They eventually stopped and sat down on the ground. Alec laid down, his hands folded on the grass and supporting his head while his knee is slightly bent, his eyes closed.
Kristopher did the same and they both fell into comfortable silence.
Kristopher didn't say a word and Alec is grateful for that, also grateful that he came. It calmed him down. He didn't feel so angry anymore. So……. Alone.
