Your POV

We had arrived at our next stop just in time for the show. The girls went to their makeup artists and I got ready in the bus. I put on black ripped skinny jeans, a black tank top, and a green flannel. I quickly did my make up before making my way to the stage. After a few minutes it was time for me to go on. As soon as I walked onto the stage the crowd went wild. I smiled as I got them to calm down.

"Hey everybody how are you?" I asked them. I heard variations of good. "Good good. How about we get started?" There were variations of yes. I did my set but when I was done I decided to preform the song. "I actually have a surprise for you guys. I'm going to sing a song I recently wrote. Hope you enjoy." I started to strum my guitar.

Walking down 29th and Park
I saw you in another's arms
Only a month we've been apart
You look happier

Saw you walk inside a bar
He said something to make you laugh
I saw that both your smiles were twice as wide as ours
Yeah, you look happier, you do

Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you
But ain't nobody love you like I do
Promise that I will not take it personal, baby
If you're moving on with someone new

'Cause baby you look happier, you do
My friends told me one day I'll feel it too
And until then I'll smile to hide the truth
But I know I was happier with you

Sat in the corner of the room
Everything's reminding me of you
Nursing an empty bottle and telling myself you're happier
Aren't you?

Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you
But ain't nobody need you like I do
I know that there's others that deserve you
But my darling, I am still in love with you

But I guess you look happier, you do
My friends told me one day I'd feel it too
I could try to smile to hide the truth
I know I was happier with you

Baby, you look happier, you do
I knew one day you'd fall for someone new
But if he breaks your heart like lovers do
Just know that I'll be waiting here for you

Once the song ended the crowd awed and cheered. "Who hurt you?!" I heard someone yell. I chuckled. "Was it about Normani?!" Someone else yelled.

I figured that they would figure it out themselves so I answered honestly, "Yeah, it was about Normani." Once I said that I realized something. "But please don't go hating on her. Please. She doesn't deserve that." I sighed and put on a fake smile. "Well that's all guys. Hope you enjoyed." The crowd cheered as I walked off the stage. I saw Normani had been watching the whole thing so as I was about to walk past her I stopped. "Hope you enjoyed the show." Then I continued my way back to the bus.

Hope you enjoyed. Tell me what you thought.
