Make Up My Mind

Part 7

I hear the car horn go off from the kitchen. I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door. My mom stopped me right as I got to the door. 

Mom: Mia.. is someone picking you up? 

Mia: Yeah, a friend and her... brother 

Mom: Okay. See you when I get home 

Mia: Yep.. bye 

I walked to the car and got in. About a couple minutes into the car ride, Anna squeals. 

Mia: Anna? You alright? 

Anna: Look how cute this dress is. I want this to be my homecoming dress. 

I see Daniel's eyes widen for a quick second.

Daniel: What makes you think you're going? 

I see Anna give Daniel a look. I didn't think much of it. 

Mia: Homecoming? 

Anna: Do they not have homecoming at your old school.

Mia: No they did. I just never went. I thought it was only a game. 

Anna: Nope there's a dance too. You gonna go? 

Mia: Uhh... I don't think so

Anna: What if you had a date? 

Mia: Well.. I would have to if I did 

Anna: Yeah 

I see Daniel and Anna make eye contact. But I just thought they did that on accident. We get to the school and park. 

Daniel: Mia.. can you go meet up with the boys? I need to talk to Anna for a second 

Anna: But I'm gonna be late

Daniel: You can be a minute or two late 

Anna: Fine 

I get out of the car and head to the spot where the boys usually are. 

(Daniel's POV

When Mia got out of the car. I turn back to Anna and give her a death stare. 

Anna: What? 

Daniel: Are you serious? Mentioning homecoming

Anna: Why don't you ask her? 

Daniel: Don't be acting funny right now. You know I cant do that

Anna: Yes you can

Daniel: No I can't. Not after last night

Anna: She seemed to forget about it. Why can't you? 

Daniel: Because she's different then all the other girls 

Anna: I think we all know that by now. Give it a shot please. I have a fantastic idea. 

Daniel: ..... give me a paper of the idea at lunch. If it fails.. I blame you. 

Anna: Just to let you know, you need the boys' help 

Daniel: Please don't tell me....

Anna: I don't even have to cause you already know. See you soon Dani! I'm also gonna send the guys the details. 

Anna got her stuff and ran to class all happy and excited. I hope this doesn't fail. I get my stuff and head to the spot to meet up with the boys. 

(Mia's POV)

A few minutes later after I got out of the car, I see Daniel walk up to us and does the handshake with the boys.
