Chapter 19: Meeting the Spider

(Few days later, ever since Night had her third baby, Alexandrite, night was sent on her first mission to an energon mine...)

Nightmare is on her datapad doing some work. The Autobots came attacking the Decepticons, but Night couldn't fight back. So, she left the mine and searched through the woods.

She sees some smoke from the sky and goes to investigate. There was a Fallen ship. Night slowly goes to it. But then sees an Autobot with a small human going close to the ship. "Arcee?",Night calls. Arcee looks up, "Nightmare? What are you doing here?".

"I was at a mine, who's this?",Night kneels down to the human. "I'm Jack",he answer. She nods.

"What is this?", Night looks at the ship and slowly walks in. Arcee follows her. Inside was a little dark, but they both see terrifying heads in jar columns. Night's optics pupils shrunk scared. "I know who ship this is...",Arcee said. They walk out. "Who's is it?",Night asked.

"A Decepticon that killed my partner, Tailgate... Airachnid..",she says.

"Oh primus...",Night said.

"Come on, she could be anywhere...",Arcee looked at her. So, the three of them went through the woods.

The Decepticon, Airachnid was searching for a small human to add to her collection as a souvenir. Airachnid sees one in a tent and sneaks up on the human. All of a sudden, Arcee attacks her and went do the hill. Nightmare runs after them and hides in the trees with Jack in her servo. "Arcee..",Airachnid says.

"See you tracking the creatures for your collection",Arcee looks at her mad. Jack struggles a bit in Night's servo, "hey, put me down, I need to help Arcee", Jack said. Night wouldn't let him. "If I do, you'll be put into this dumb spider's collection with those fraggin creatures.. specimens",she says quietly to Jack. Arcee starts shooting at Airachnid and she shot back at Arcee. But Arcee got caught in Airachnid's webbing. Nightmare growled lowly, "okay I'll get Airachnid and you stay behind the trees, got it??",she commanded him and he nodded. "We're partners... partner don't ditch partners.",Jack looked at her and Night sighed.

"I'll get Airachnid and you get Arcee..",they both agreed.

Nightmare gets down, "Hey you!!!",behind Airachnid, she turns around and Night punches her face hard. Airachnid falls. They both fight each other. Jack went to go free Arcee. Night kept biting and scratching her.

Airachnid throws her. Night pants lightly and looks at her, "dumb spiders...".

"You looks like Megatron's idiotic second in command",Airachnid insults. Nightmare growls angry, "he's my mate, dumb aft"...

Arcee comes running and shooting at Airachnid again, "Leave her alone!",she shouts. Night grabs one of Airachnid's spider legs, so she won't walk off, but lost her grip. "Stand down Airachnid..",Night readies her laser guns and pointed at her face.

"I'll get both your sparks!",Airachnid says and drills away underground to escape. Jack stood between Night and Arcee.

They both panted a bit, "let's go back to the base...", Arcee looked at Jack and Night. "I'll just go back to the ship",Night said.

"Don't you wanna come to the base, Nightmare?",Jack asked her.

"Nah, my mate will wonder where I'm at. Well... nice to meet you, Jack",Night says, transforms and flies back to the ship. Jack waves bye.

(At the ship, night was slightly injured)

She lands and goes inside. Starscream was waiting for her. "Nightmare? What happened???",he asked her worriedly.

"You are not gonna believe who we found now...",she looks at him.

"Who is it?",he asked again.

"Airachnid...",Nightmare answers. Starscream looked surprised.
