Chapter 18: Third Child

(Two months later, Nightmare is on her second pregnancy)

They weren't sure if it was a mech or femme again. Night tried to get worried about the new sparkling/baby.

(In bed)

Night is sleeping and Starscream was snoring slightly behind her. Has his arms wrapped around her. His left was on her belly. Starscream slightly wakes up, "hm..",he gently sits up and rubs his optics. Night still sleeps. Star stands up from the berth and stretches. He looks at Night and her slight swollen belly. He smiles warmly and puts a blanket on her while she sleeps.

Starscream walks out of the dorm and goes to work.

(Few minutes later)

The sparkling starts to kick inside and Night wakes up. She groans lightly... and she remembered that it was her check up time. So, Night sits up and stretches. With low optics, tired wings, and has the bun in the oven. She sighs, "You wake me up again, huh?", she stands up from the berth and heads to the medbay for the check up. "Hey, Knockout...",she says. "How'd you sleep?",he looked at her.

"Great..",Night says sarcastically.

Then she sees a new machine that Knockout had, a scanner. "You ready?",he asked. She nods she goes to the machine and goes in front of it. "Check this out",he turns on the scanner, but she didn't know it was an X-Ray scanner. "Whoa...",Knockout looks surprised. You can see inside her stomach and the baby. But the baby was dark, not the color. Nightmare was blushing mad. "What is this?!",she shouts. Knockout chuckles nervously and sees that the tail and legs of the baby are different. Night and KO couldn't see through the scanner clearly. "Weird..",he said.

"What is it?",she asked. "The tail and legs are different than yours, guess you and screamers will have to wait for the sparkling", he says. Nightmare senses that the baby is a femme.

(Few months later)

Night was grunting in pain and the femme inside was kicking, ready to come. "Starscream!!!",she shouted while calling him. He comes runny to where she's at and helps her up to the medbay. Tries not to give birth on the ship floors. They made it to the medbay.

Nightmare pants heavily and pushes. Knockout helps out with the birthing. Starscream holds her hand. Night tries not to crush his hand (🤣). Few minutes later, Star and Night hear a sparkling crying. Knockout was wearing gloves and hold the newborn girl.

The sparkling was crying. Knockout starts to clean her with water. Nightmare was exhausted now and Starscream was happy for her. "Good job, my night",Star says to her. She smiles tiredly. Knockout wraps the little sparkling in a blanket and gives her to Night.

"Thanks KO..",she thanks him. He nods. "Hey there, little one...",quietly night says to the newborn. "What will you name her?",Star asked.

Night thinks. "I like Alexandrite... after an old friend of mine..",she says and smiles warmly. Starscream accepted that name too. Alex slightly opens her optics and they were surprising. Her right optic was purple predacon form and the left optic was the same as Starscream's. Her tail was a night fury.

"Amazing..",Night says gently..

"Our beautiful girl... Alexandrite..",Star says.

The twins come in. "Mommy? Daddy?", they both said. "Come meet your little sister..",night says quietly because Alex went to sleep. So they come over and see Alexandrite. They were amazed too and they smiled.

Starscream smiles warmly at his family and kisses Alexandrite on her forehead. "It's your daddy, Starscream... I promise I'll always take care and love you no matter what..".
