Chapter 35: Bedtime stories (Flashbacks)

(After the incident with the rogue cons, at night, the kids were being put to bed by their mother. Starscream went to bed. Night tries to calm them down. But the kids ask her about her and Star..)

"Momma, how did dad react when you told him that you were gonna have us?..",Dreamweaver asked her. Night looked at her, "He was happy.. being overprotective during the past few months of my pregnancy. He wouldn't let Megatron go near me.".

"Bedtime story",they all said and sit up.

"Oh okay then, well, it was at night, your father and I were stargazing. Then I told him I was pregnant and had proof. He was really excited. He hugged and kissed me. I was three months. I had morning sickness everyday. Had some weird cravings, few weeks later..."

(Flashback)

Starscream was sleeping behind her, puts his servo on her belly and feels something. It was a baby bump. Night wakes up tiredly, "what is it?...".

"I feel it, hon. The sparkling.",he said happy. Night smiled tiredly and sits up. Star kisses her dermas. "You wanna speak to the baby?..",she asked him. He smiles and nods. Gets of the berth and slightly crouches down to her belly. "Hi, this is your sire here.. cant wait to meet you soon, in two or three months. And I'm not rude.. I changed. I won't let Megatron go anywhere near you. And, just to reminder.. when you're born.. I will always love you".he said in soft voice and Nightmare smiles warmly. He puts his forehead on hers. Her optics turned red for curious or loved. A month later, Starscream had one for a day off, so he spend time with his mate. Night's belly was getting swollen..

Night was on her datapad. Star walks in, "Hey my night, I have one day off from work."He sits next to her and touches her stomach. "Oh that's good..",she said. He was rubbing her stomach and the sparkling kicked. "Oh primus, first kick",Star said and smiles widely. "I feel it too.",she smiles a little. Past few days, she was talking to Vehicons, Knockout, Breakdown, Soundwave, and even Vehicons. Steve liked touching her belly, it made him happy. To Soundwave, he put is tentacles on each side of her stomach so he can hear a spark beat or two. He puts a happy face on his visor. Starscream wouldn't let Night talk or get near Megatron. Star's being overprotective. One day, she walked over to talk to Megatron when Star wasn't around. Megatron needed to be nice for one day, so he gives her energon ice cream. She was surprised, "Oh.. thank you, Megatron.",says and smiles. "My present to you...", he said and walked off.

Few minutes later, Night went to the medbay to get an X-ray. Then Knockout told her she was having twins.

Night was sitting in the berthroom alone and Starscream was working. She sat up and stretched. The sparklings were kicking her and Night couldn't sleep. Had nothing else to do, except.. talking to the sparklings which is embarrassing to her, she had to anyways.

"umm... okay sparklings, i have no one else to talk to except you so... why don't we talk about your daddy, Starscream....",she looked down to her belly.

Starscream passes by the berthroom and hears her. So he stands by the door, hiding.

"Your daddy is.. smart, funny, very handsome, generous. And... I want to let you two know... he'll never hurt you two or me. Star will love you both very, very much, when you meet him soon...",she slightly rubs her stomach and the sparklings kick a bit. He smiled warmly when she said those words, but got confused when she said "two". He leaves.

(Now)

"And that is the story of you guys and he was the same to Alex.",Night said.

"Oh wow. That's surprising",Dreamweaver said. The others nodded.

"Well, time for bed now..",she said, kisses their foreheads and nuzzles their noses. They go to sleep. Nightmare goes back to her berthroom. Starscream was lying on the bed. Nightmare walks in. "They're calmed down now, hon?"

"Yeah, they wanted a bedtime story.", Night lies down next to him.

"Oh..",he said and falls asleep. She chuckles quietly and cuddles on him. Falls asleep.
