Chapter 30: See the future in your dreams

(After the truth about the Xenomorphs, Alexandrite, 5 years old, started to have weird dreams and nightmares..)

Every night, Alex had weird nightmares that she couldn't tell to her parents. The first nightmare was about the Xenomorphs coming to get her mother, but she would be afraid to tell the truth to her. Alex felt like it was a new ability that she got from Night. The twins had different powers.

(At Night)

Alex was sleeping on her berth. But, starts to mumble and slight tears were coming out her optics. This was her 2nd nightmare. She wakes up in her nightmare. "Huh? What?",she said. Surrounding her was blood of energon. "Gah!",she was shocked. Her parents and siblings were dead. There were two tall decepticons in from of her. She couldn't see their face, but they both had red optics. Alex was sobbing. She jolts waking up and tears were still coming down. She wipes and looks at her tears and sniffles. While getting off her berth, she checks on her parents to see if they're not dead like in her dream. Star and Night were both sleeping. Night was on the edge and Starscream was behind her. Alex sighed in relief. She walks in and hops on their berth.

Starscream wakes up, "hm, Alex?",he said. Alex snuggled between her parents. "What's wrong?"

"I had a nightmare",she said in a sad voice. "Oh, sorry, here..",he said, lies on his back, so she can lie on his chest. She goes on top of him, but lies on his tanks/stomach. But, he didn't care anyways. She liked to hear weird sounds in his stomach. (Which is weird XD) So, he puts a blanket on both of them, covering Alex's whole body and goes back to sleep.

(In the morning)

Nightmare wakes up and yawns. She stretches all the way. Night gets up and leaves the berthroom. Next, Star wakes up and takes the blanket off, sees Alex still sleeping. He smiles warmly. He gently picks her up. She starts mumbling again, "why... Stay.. away",she said and Star gets worried.

"Alex? Wake up.",he said She jolts awake again. "Are you okay?",he asked. "Been having nightmares lately.. which is weird.",Alex said. "Nightmares? About what?",he asked again.

"I don't wanna talk about it..",she said. Star was curious and wanted to help his daughter. "If you don't tell me, how will you deal with them?",he said and looked at her. She had a sad face and started crying. "Alex.. what's wrong?",Star says, sits down and sets her on his lap. "I.. dreamt.. that you.. momma.. and the others.. were dead.",she panted quickly and cries. He wipes her tears. "Alex.. it's okay. It's not true..",he said while wiping her tears still. "It felt so real. Two decepticon bots killed you guys.",she explained more.

"Oh my..",he said surprised, she nodded. "And you said it felt real?",he asked and she nodded again. So, Starscream took his daughter to Night and tells her everything about Alex's nightmare. Night was surprised too. "If it feels real, then we have to prevent it from happening.",Night said.

"But, we don't know what they look like.",Alex said and looked at her. "We figure it out.",Star puts her down. "Can I speak with you, honey?",Night looked at her mate. "Okay",Star said and walks to the hall with Night.

"She has a new ability.",she said.

"Seeing the future in her dreams? That's difficult. Either good or bad.",Starscream said.

"Our kids have powers. They'll be in danger soon. The Xenomorphs will come after me then all of us.",she said worried. She sighed. "They have half of me and half of you.",Star said, and grabs her servos. Night looked surprised. "We have new enemies upon you, only you can defeat them.",he said.

"But, I don't know what they want. Their thirst is... power..",she said and looks at her gem. She knew what she wanted now. "Primus... I know what they want..".

"What is it?",he said confused and worried.

She breathes once and chassis opens. Star was amazed. "so, that's what they want.",he said.

Night's optics turn bright white and nods. She closes her chassis, "I'll have to keep it safe from them and I'll tell the kids as well."

"Alright..",he said. She gives him a warm hug and he hugged back. "I'll handle this.. don't worry..",Night talked softly.

"I know.",Star said and sighed.
