Chapter 44: Childhood Stories

(The kids were happy with their weapons, but had to be careful. Late at night, Nightmare was to take her kids to a late night flight.)

The kids were laughing and Night liked their sounds of happiness. The sun goes down and stars start to glow. On Night, light purple markings were glowing around her body. Her kids were amazed. But the same thing happened to them but different prints. Starburst was a light blue tiger print. The twins like Tron, but with curve triangles below their optics. Alexandrite was like a Night, but had circles around her eyes. . They were amazed to it as well.

A little while later, they land in an empty spot of soft grass.

Night sits down, her kids sit next to her side to side. "Mom..?",Alex said.

"Yes, hon?",Night said.

"Tell us a story about you when you were a kid. If that okay..",she said said politely.

"Really? Alright. Many years ago.. I was a small humanized, Night fury animatronic. I had my mom's gem on my chest. My care takers were my mom's old friends, Lapis Lazuli and Peridot. I sometimes got out of my house, it was near a beach and there was a cliff. I wake up every morning to see the sun rise. I wouldn't sometimes eat breakfast, eating fish, pancakes, and that was it.. I've made some friends in town.. all.. gone now.. I believe.. *sighs* One friend.. his name was Springtrap, a bunny animatronic. We do everything together, watch each others' backs...".

"How'd you meet him?",Weaver asked.

Nightshade was sleeping upside down on a pole. The alarm rings to wake her up. She gets startled and falls on her head. "Ow, every time.",she said in slight pain and gets up. Lapis and Peridot were downstairs. Later Night walks outside to watch the sunrise. The sun shines in the water. She smiles. Meanwhile, she walks around the town. "Finally, i can get out the house by myself."

While walking, she spots a pizzeria with animatronics like herself and walks in. Children were looking at the stage laugh and cheering. Night takes a seat in the back. When the show was over, the children eat pizza. Night was still watching. Some other kids thought she was one of them and wondered why she wasn't on the stage. Chica sees her, but Night didn't see her. Chica tells Freddy about the strange new animatronic. Springtrap was wiping his instrument, making it shining. Nightshade was still at a table eating some pizza she never tried before. Spring's eyes were looking around and sees her. Puts his guitar down and walks over to greet her to the pizzeria. Night was still eating pizza and messes around with the cheese that was stretchy. She thought it was funny. "Hello.",he said and she looked at him. Night stayed silent like she was in trouble or something.

"I'm Springtrap, what's your name?",he asked her and sticks his hand out to get a handshake. Night looked at his hand and gives him a handshake. "Nightshade.",she said.

"Nice to meet you. Are you new in the pizzeria?",he asked curiously.

"I've never been here before. Or tried this *looks at the pizza*",Night said and tilts her head.

"It's called pizza.",he said. "Oh."

"I watched your show, it was great.",she said with a smile. He blushes lightly.

"I play guitar.",he smiles.

"Can I try something on your "guitar"?,she asked politely. He nods and go gets his guitar from the stage. Gently gives it to her, Night tries to be careful with the strings and starts playing. She started doing medium notes. "I think I know a song...",she said. Her song was "Faded". (I love that song in electric guitar version XD) Spring was surprised how good she was playing. She plays on solo until the end and finishes. Spring starts clapping, "That was awesome! You learned that??",he asked. She nodded, "Taught me.",she said and gives the guitar back.

"Hey, would you like to play on the stage, tomorrow?",he asked her.

"That's nice, but I get too nervous.",she said.

"It's not that bad, I'll help you not to get nervous.",he said smiling. She smiles back. Every day, they start hanging out and meet new friends. XLR8, Ennard, Golden Freddy, and others. But on other days, Night would go on missions with Lapis and Peridot, searching for dangers, like corrupted gems that were part of Pink's army, so they can help healing them too.

On the day of Nightshade's disappearance, Springtrap was sitting on the beach waiting for her to return. Her friends returned on Jake, a regular thanator that belonged to Rainbow Hematite, hence Black Diamond. Spring was happy they returned, but didn't see Night with them. "Nightshade..?",he asked Peridot and Lapis. They were both injured during the battle. Peridot looked at him and puts her limb enhancer hand on his shoulder in sadness. "N-no...",he said and started to tear up. A while later, he was walking back to the pizzeria, was going to tell the news to his friends. They were sitting at the table eating pizzeria with the other animatronics. He walks in, "Hey, you're-",Golden Freddy was about to talk until he saw a sad, tearful look on his face.

"Nightshade?",Ennard said to his and Springtrap shook his head. They were surprised and sad. They all gave him a hug.

(Now)

"And that's how I met him..",Nightmare said and sighs.

"Why couldn't you go back?",Weaver asked.

"I can't.. if I do, I wonder how mad he's gonna be if he see me.. married.. have kids.. I had no other choice..",Night says in a low voice and puts her head down. Her kids gave her a group hug and she hugs back. But, she was still wondering if she can still go back home and see him.

"Come on, let's go home..",she said and flew up. They followed her..
