Transformers: The Star In The Night Sky

Chapter 56: Reformed

Night sinks all the way in the Cybermatter. "Nightmare!!!",Starscream shouted loudly and lets go of Arcee.  Starburst sees that and roars loudly with all his might from the loss of his friend. "Mom!!",her kids said and started to cry. Megatron hears them and he didn't care. Optimus looks at her family all saddened and crying of Nightmare.

Outraged, Optimus smashes Megatron backward in a series of powerful blows. Through his knockdown, Megatron recovers the Dark Star Saber and wave attacks him. In the cybermatter, something was glowing inside. The pieces of the gemstone were being put back together by themselves fast and lifted up Night's body. Her optics were glowing white and she looks at Starscream. He was shocked and happy that she was alive that tears came down get. What the kids see is that she's still dead. In his head, Night was speaking to him, "Fuse with me.." in a light, but low toned voice. Only Starscream can see and hear her. He nods to her in agreedment. Optimus was clinging on to the side, Megatron prepares to finish him off, "Prepare to join the legend in the Allspark..!",he said. Only to turn around in response to someone calling his name, "Megatron!"

He turns around. Eclipse runs at him through with the Star Saber. Their chest heals and covers up the stone. The Autobots were shocked. "You took everything from me.. The pain you feel.. is how I felt inside.. but now.. You will never rob anyone of anything ever again..",Eclipse said. Megatron grunts and drops the Dark Star Saber behind him. It falls down to the Earth. Megatron falls on his knees. He dies and slides out of the Star Saber, and his body falls from the Omega Lock, Earthward. The Earth's atmosphere burns his body while falling. Eclipse helps Optimus up, then the other Decepticons scramble to escape. Eclipse and Optimus go back to the other bots.

"Mom??",the kids said. Eclipse nods and they unfuse. Nightmare's frame was shiny and the blue diamonds tip on her wings and tail was sparkling. Her kids hugged her tight. Night hugs them back, "It's okay.. I'm here...". Starscream smiled warmly.

"You did it..",Arcee said.

"No... we did it.. together..",Night said back. "Which reminds me.."

Nightmare looks at Bumblebee and sticks out her hands to him. He holds her hands. She closes her optics and then a light aurora wave comes out of her chest and straight through his throat, giving his pipes back. She finishes and the wave fades away. "Wow that felt a bit weird",Bumblebee said and didn't notice he started speaking.

"Bumblebee.",Ratchet said.

"Your voice",Arcee also spoke.

"My voice? What do you- My voice??",Bumblebee said and his mouth opens. He lets out a little sigh.

"Ratchet, I have my pipes back",he said happily and hugs him.

"Yes, yes, we noticed",Ratchet said and chuckled at the same time. Bumblebee lets go of him and looks at Night.

"Thanks Nightmare..",he said and she nodded.

"It would seem the legend and our medic did good after all",Optimus said. He announces to Ultra Magnus and the rest of the team that Megatron had perished. Everyone was happy and so was Miko, Jack and Raf. Starscream was curious of what they were gonna do with all the Cybermatter. Night looked at him and came up with an idea. Night tells Optimus her idea and he thought the same thing.

Now that's the ship under Autobot control, Optimus orders Magnus to set course for Cybertron. Bumblebee radios Raf to let him know to come up so he can be there for the restoration of Cybertron. Raf was surprised that he had his voice back. A moment later, Star and Night were alone down the hall. "I thought I lost you..",Starscream said, looking straight at her.

"I'm never leaving our family.. okay..?",she said, he nodded.

"We did what had to be done.. *sighs* If.. I rule Cybertron.. I need you by my side..".

He felt good inside, and that he was gonna be king like he always wanted to be. Night tells him that he has to good instead of bad, meaning Decepticon into Autobot. So, Starscream decided to think about it. They arrive to Cybertron and the kids look out the view. They were stunned. Ratchet explains that he hasn't completed the formula to synthesize cyber-matter, but never learned Shockwave's portion, and the current amount was intended to cyberform Earth, not the much larger Cybertron. "You might need me down there, above the Cybermatter, so I can produce more matter, if that's okay",Night said and looks at Optimus.

"Done",he agreed. Starscream was worried because she was always leaves. Night walks out.

Optimus directs the ship to the Well of All Sparks, so they can revitalize Cybertron's core. "Is this where grandpa is?",Weaver and Racer said at the same time.

"Grandpa?",Bulkhead said and looked at both of them.

"Grandpa Primus. Mom's god dad."

"Ready, Nightmare?",Optimus asked her through his comm and she was ready. Floating above the Cybermatter, beams of aurora light flow from her body and into the matter. "Fire..",she said. The beam of energy strikes into Cybertron's core and everything glows into a healthy blue. In the ship, Knockout admires the planet's luster and claims to be "joining the winning team". Miko punches him while in the Apex armor. Predaking who still holding to the hull, looking at Cybertron before transforming and flies off.

"The predacon..",Ultra magnus said.

(At the base)

Everyone was saying goodbye to the human kids. But,  Ratchet takes the opportunity to announce he's staying on Earth. Night felt sad also well that she had to leave Earth too, to stay with her family. Starscream was standing with his children, looking at the Autobots. The kids went to say goodbye too in their holoforms. Star looks at his new son's face while holding him in his arms. Star jr coos and looks at him back, "d-da".Starscream smiled warmly.

Miko, Jack, and Raf were sad that their guardians had to leave. Meanwhile,  Fowler, Magnus, Wheeljack and Smokescreen share a mutual salute. Optimus gives Ratchet a last goodbye, while the other bots go through a Space bridge. Optimus go through the portal, Night was the last to through. She looks at them with a final lingering look to human friends, strides through after her team and family.
