Chapter 32: Aliens of the Dark

(An Xenomorph alien-con find the ship, but it was just a clone. Night was worried that there will be more coming after her. See what happens.)

Nightmare does some research of the clone and tries to figure out their location. Working on the monitor, datapads and the blood work. Her kids walk in and see the clone tied to the medbed. "What is that?!",they shouted. Nightmare turned around, "I'll explain later on, please stay with your dad, while I get this done, please?". They nodded and leave the room. She continues working. The monitors pick up a signal. "There you are..",she said and puts the clone in a status pod. Night leaves the room and goes to find her mate.

"I found the location of the Alien-cons. Better if you and the kids stay here on the ship. I probably won't be back for a while.",Night said.

"But, momma.. Why can't we come to?", Alex asked.

"No, sorry, honey. It'll be to dangerous. I need you to be here.",Night said.

Night kissed her family goodbye and leaves. Leaving the ship and flies to the signal. She felt worried inside. Having these mixed feelings in her head. The signal starts beeping on the cockpit, "There you are..",she said in her head and lands on the ground in front of the cave. Some of the Xenomorphs were in disguise and were spying on her in the rocks. They start making light clicking sound and Nightmare starts to hear it. She stops, and puts her servo on her chassis to pull out a spear. She throws her spear fast and a clone shrieks and dies. "Gotcha..",she whispers. Night gets electrocuted and screams. She passes out. Few hours later, she wakes up in a cell.

"Huh? what the??",Night said and echoed. Two Alien-cons with sharp spears were guarding the cell. Night pants a bit.

(On the ship)

Starscream was watching the kids. The kids were wondering when their mother will return from her mission. Star tried to connect Night through his com-link, but nothing. There was no signal underground where Nightmare was at. Star started to feel worried. "Where's momma, daddy?",Alex asked Star. "I'm not sure, sweet. But, she will be back soon",he replies. "Okay..".

He wouldn't stop think about her, he wanted to make sure if she was safe, so he remembered to plan something.

(In the cave of the Alien-cons)

Night needed to escape the cell. So, she planned to be dead. Pulls out of glowing paint of energon. Pours some on the floor, lies down and makes her optics black. Few minutes later, another Alien-con passes by the cell and see her dead. "Oh great, she killed herself, what will the queen say?",he said and opens the cell. Night tried not to move. The other two guards go in as well. "Why does Nightshade look like this?",a guard said.

"Don't know",another guard said. He looks at her chassis and puts both of his servos on it to turn her over on her back. Night opens her optics fast and punches the guard. She hurts the other two. "Never touch a lady, fellas.",she said and walks out of cell. Wiping off the paint, she went to find the queen. The queen knew she would get out, so she is waiting on her throne. Nightmare was fighting the other guards. Using her spear, laser guns, shield, bow and arrow, and even lasso. In front of the throne room door, Night had a spear in her servo. The door opens. In the room, on each side were green glowing eggs, not ready to hatch. "Nightshade..",the queen said. "We meet again."

"It's been years since the last time I tried to kill you.",she said. Nightmare growled. She stood up from her throne. "Now had over your gem or we make it difficult.",the queen looked at night with an evil smile.

"I will never give up my gem to you", Night said and readies her spear. She chuckles and a screen above her turn on and it was the ship inside, showing Night's family. "I was hoping you would choose.. difficult.",she said.

Xenomorphs come down the ceiling. The kids start to scream. Starscream was shocked, grabbed the kids and ran, "Run!!!". The Vehicons start shooting at them. Some died and where left on the floor.

"Stop it!",Night shouted at the queen. She chuckles and goes at Night. But, Night tackles her down. The queen kicks her off hard and Nightmare hits the wall hard. "Aa-ugh!! That fraggin hurt!",she said.

"I'll make it hurt more until you bleed!",the queen shouted to her. She goes at Night again, but Nightmare pushes her and grunts. They start to scratch hard as each other. The queen pushes her backwards. Night grunts loudly and tries to pushes her back. The claws on her toes start to scrap the floor. Night started to feel all the strength inside. "Argh!!",she shouted and strongly pushes her.

"How?!",the queen shouted. Night pulls her up, spins and throws her at her throne. The throne breaks into pieces. Night looks at her digits and they started to spark up. "Whoa...",she said amazed. She was bleeding energon.

The queen got up from the crumbles. "Don't think you've won.. you've only won because you're powerful.",she said.

"You should of died when tried to kill you. The name is Nightmare, the daughter of a gem that I never knew. And you will die and you will stay away from my family",she readies her laser gun at her and shoots at the wall.

"You missed",the queen said.

"I never miss",Night said. The wall started to crack and came to the wall. The ceiling started to crack. Rocks were coming down above the queen. But, the whole cave was coming down and Nightmare ran to escape. The Xenomorphs powered down at the ship. They can't move without the queen's control. More rocks came down, Night was almost to the exit, but a rock lands on her leg. "Ahhh!!!",she screamed and pants. She tries not to cry tears. She shoots the rock and slightly gets up. She uses her spear to get up.

Nightmare opens a portal with her fingers and slowly walks through. Star sees the portal, "Nightmare!! I can't believe-",he stops talking and sees her injured.

She grunts while walking. He runs over and helps her up. He takes her to the medbay. The kids come over, "Momma!!". She breathes slowly. "She's gone now...",Night speaks lightly.

Starscream sighs in relief. "Good". Knockout was patching her up and fixing her leg. When Knockout was done, Starscream carries Night to the berthroom and the kids follow. "I'm fine now... just.. need to.. sleep..",she falls asleep while talking. The kids sit on the bed. Starscream and her family were relieved that Night was safe.
