Chapter 16: Who are you? (Part 2)

Megatron crushed her gem that was full of her memories of Starscream, Starburst and her babies. She was left powered down for a while.

Starscream was looking for Nightmare. The twins were left with Knockout. Star looked in the control room and see her on the floor. "Nightmare??", he runs to her and goes on his knees. He pull her body straight, then he sees some shattered pieces of a gemstone. "Oh no..", he opens up her chest, and her gem was crushed. Star didn't know what was gonna happen when she wakes up, so he takes night to the medbay. He picks up the pieces. He knew that Megatron has done it and felt angry inside.

(In the medbay)
Knockout was check Nightmare. "She's shut down..", he said. "Megatron did it", Star looked at him. The twins were sitting on the counter. "Is mommy gonna wake up?", Dreamweaver looks at Knockout. Knockout wasn't sure. Few hours later, Starscream tries to put Night's gem  together, they were slightly big chunks. He put the final piece, and her gem glowed a little bit and started to be attached to each other. "Open her chest", Starscream says and Knockout opens Night's chest. Star inserts her gem and Night starts to power on.

Nightmare wakes up. She groans a bit. "Nightmare, are you okay? Please speak to me, sweetheart", Starscream looks at her worried. Night rubs her optics and blinks a few times. Then she looks around, then Starscream, "Who are you? Star was confused and he thought she was joking. "Umm, what kind of gem does Nightmare have??", Knockout asked Star. "She has a Rainbow Hematite, why?", Star says. Knockout searched up her gem on the medbay monitor. "Her gem is transmuted to love, and assist mental functioning, memory and development..", Knockout looks at Starscream serious. Star was surprised that she had lost all her memories. "Uh, what's going on and where am I?", Nightmare says curiously. Star sighs in sadness. "Mommy!", Weaver and Racer says. Night was confused that the strange sparklings called her mommy.

"I'm a mom?", she questions.

Starscream didn't know what to do, but have to remind her of her past, her life with him, and the kids. "What's your name, mister?", Night asked him. He inhaled and exhaled and he did what he had to do.

"We need to revive her memories as soon as possible.", Knockout said.

"Why?", Star asked.

"I think the reason Megatron crushed her gem, it's because so she can forget about you and your kids. So we need to find something to actually seal those cracks for good. Like a cure..", Knockout says. Star thought of something that Night had told him a few months ago. Nightmare had healing tears from her mother. She put some of her tears in a container and kept it safe somewhere, and that somewhere is the cave Night didn't want Star to look in.
"We need to get her healing tears, or else she'll forget me and the kids forever", Starscream was very worried.
