a/n;
I know I usually put the authors note at the end, but I recently said I might stop writing this story. Well I have decided not to, I'm just going to update whenever I have the time; most likely fridays/saturdays. It probaby won't be every week either.. I know I haven't updated in awhile and I'm sorry for that. Anyway, thank you for reading and yeah.
-jacquelyn.

______

*Shawn's POV*

Jacquelyn laid back down on my bare chest and eventually fell asleep.
There's a lot I haven't told her about my career.
I got out of her bed and got dressed. I walked over to her desk took out a piece of paper and a pen and started to write.
"Jacquelyn,
I'm really sorry you're finding this out this way. I really wanted to tell you, but I don't think I could take it. I have been offered a record deal, with Island Records.. In New York. I have to leave for awhile. I'm going to be releasing a single, an EP, and going on a tour, with Austin Mahone all over the U.S. I wanted to tell you in person but that's too much for me to handle, but I hate myself for not telling you sooner. By time you read this I'll be on a plane to New York. I remember you telling me you've always wanted to go to New York.. I'll miss you, more than anything in this world. I'll try to be home as much as I can. Can you promise me one thing? Promise me you'll be there for me when I come back, no matter what, because I will be there with you, maybe not physically but emotionally and mentally I will be right there holding you.
I love you.
-Shawn"
With every word it wrote came a tear, a few falling on to the paper.
I looked at the board hanging above her desk. It has at least 60 pictures of us, the night of the county fair, the Magcon Toronto event.. It has every little thing I've ever given to her, a note, a bracelet, and all of out movie tickets. Above the board there is a picture that reads "The nights we felt alive."
I looked back at her laying in the bed. She was an angel, and God was I blessed to have her in my life.
I walked over to her and kissed her head.
"I am going to miss you, so much. I love you."
I walked to her door, stopped, looked back at her one last time.
"I'll be back before you know it."
Then walked out.
I walked home, it was about 3:30AM which meant I'd be leaving in an hour or two.
When I reached my house the lights were on.
"Did you tell her?" My dad asked as soon as I walked in.
"Yeah. I did." I replied.
"I'm sorry, son." He said patting my back.
"Yeah." I replied walking up to my bedroom.
I sat on my bed and unlocked my phone to reveal the picture of me and, Jacquelyn, after the fair, at the lake. I sat for a little while and just admired the picture, the memory tattooed in my head. After looking at the picture I opened my instagram app and posted it.
"The hardest thing I've ever had to do was tell her goodbye.. I'll miss her more than anything." I captioned it and then posted it.

"Shawn?" Aaliyah asked standing in my door way.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"You didn't tell her did you?" She asked again.

"Not the way I meant to,no." I said looking at her.

Aaliyah has always been stuck with me, shes never had anyone of the same sex to talk to, and when Jacquelyn came around, Aaliyah just enjoied life a lot more.

"I'm going to miss her." She responed sitting on my bed.

"Me too, Aaliyah.. Me too." I said pulling her into a hug.

She smiled up at me, her eyes glossy with tears, she let one tear fall, got up, and left me sitting there.

*Jacquelyn's POV*

I woke up, it was about 4:00AM which means I only slept for an hour. I looked over and Shawn was missing from my bed. He probably went home.
