*Shawn's POV*

The rest of the car ride to the airport neither me or Jacquelyn said anything, the music from the radio lingered quietly through the car, barely audible over the whipping wind as we sped down the freeway.
When we got to the airport I got Jacquelyn and I's suitcases from the trunk and we walked hand-in-hand.
We boarded the plane and I took the little book that my mom had given me to write in the first time I ever left for New York.
Jacquelyn had already put in headphones and dozed off, so I began to read over everything that I had written in the small black book. It was all about her, and how I missed her, and how she made me feel.
I would write more about her, if all the pages weren't filled top to bottom.
I sat in the window seat as I did the first time I left home, the city light were the same, but there's a different beauty to them now.
I felt someone grab my arm, I looked over, Jacquelyn rested her head on my shoulder and smiled at me, then intertwined our fingers.

"It's beautiful, the world, it's this deceivingly beautiful thing. It's almost seems unreal." She spoke.

I kissed her forehead and her eyes fluttered closed again. I rested my head on top of hers and dozed off to sleep too.

"Shawn!" I heard someone say.
"What?" I asked.
"We're here! Get your ass up!" Jacquelyn replied.
"But I'm tired!" I groaned.
She sighed, "you can sleep when we get to the hotel now come on."

I got up and hit my head on the bag compartment, like I did the first time I came to New York.
Jacquelyn laughed as I rubbed my head. I grabbed my carry on and then we made our way into the airport. There were girls everywhere, it was too early for all of the screaming but I stopped to take some pictures.
On the drive to the hotel Jacquelyn slept. Her seat was tilted backward a little, her feet rested on the dashboard, and she had her One Direction blanket pulled up to her chin.

"Can you turn on some music?" She mumbled.
I smiled, "Yeah."

When I turned on the radio Life Support by Sam Smith was playing. A small smile was noticable on her face when I glanced over at her. After awhile of driving Jacquelyn fell asleep, again.

"Jackie, we're here." I said shaking her gentley.
She groaned, "I don't wanna get up!"
"What if I give you a piggy back ride?"
She smiled and nodded.

I stood my back to her as she sat in the passanger seat, she hopped onto my back and shut the door with her foot.

"What about our bags?" She asked.
"I'll get them later."

She rested her head on my head as we walked the parking lot into the hotel.

"Hello!" The lady at the desk said a little too enthusiastic for three in the morning to be completely honest.
Jacquelyn replied, "Hello! Goodmorning!"
"Last name?" The lady, whos name was Kelly, asked.
Jacquelyn replied again, "Mendes."
"Okay, your room is 345, third floor." Kelly said smiling, handing Jacquelyn the key, "Have fun you two."

We wouldn't fin in the elevator with Jacquelyn on my back so she had to get down, which she was upset about. When the elevator door opened up on the thir floor we followed the signs to our room. When we found it Jackie unlocked the door and i ran into the room ploped on the bed, she followed landing ontop of me.
I hadn't really taken notice of how much weight she had lost since I had left, but now it more noticable, her legs are long and thin, her collarbones are more noticable and her facial fetures are more noticable. She looked like a different person, really.

Her face frowned, "What?'
"Nothing, I just didn't realize how different you look." I replied.
She rolled off of me, "Is that a bad thing."
"No. No, of course not." I said sitting up, "It's just you lost so much weight."
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, "I know, I was just too sad to do anything really when you left, and I started to see what some of the other girls looked like, and I wanted look like that. I wanted you to look at me like you look at some of them."

I sat up and pulled her closer to me, she wrapped her legs around my waist and rested her head on my shoulders, and cried. Her warm tears wet my shirt and she sobbed quietly, and I held her. When she looked up at me, with her bloodshot, but still mezmorising blue/green eyes, I just looked at her.

I kissed her forehead, "You know the way I look at you is totally different then the way I look at the fans. I love my fans, but Jacquelyn, I fucking love you. I loved you before i left, I love you now. Nothing has changed, and it won't change."
She smiled, a weak smile, "I love you, so much."

I pulled her into me again and hugged her for awhile. We just sat there like that, no talking, just the sounds from outside the hotel and our breathing.
I layed down and she rested her head on my chest, and even though we'd laid in this position so many times before my heart faltered. I don't know if it was because we were in one of the most beautiful cities, together, laying here, just listening to one anothers breathing, or just because it's been so long since we have been in this situation, maybe its both.

"I'm really glad you're here with me. New York is even better with you here." I said looking down at her.
She smiled up at me, "This is probably the best day of my life, and I mean that. Beng here in this city that is so amazing beautiful, with you, laying here," she placed one of her hands on my stomach, "It's just couldn't ask for anything better."

I leaned down and she met me half way, our lips connecting for the first tim since we've arrived, and it feels amazing. She is amazing, this is amazing.
