"You don't have to say it." Shawn said looking me in the eyes.

"I want to, I wasn't so sure earlier but I couldn't be more sure about anything, ever. I mean it. I never knew that I made such a big impact on your life. But I do know you have made one of the biggest impacts on my life, and I couldn't thank you enough for coming into my life when you did." I replied crying.

I looked out at the fire works. The beautiful blues, reds, and greens, lit up the newly dark sky. I looked around at the people below, couples sitting on blankets, kids running to rides. The rides were all lit up now. This was something I would never forget.

"It's so beautiful up here." I said looking back out toward the fireworks.

Shawn didn't respond he just sighed. It wasn't a "ugh get me out of here" sigh, it was a "I never want this to end" sigh, and I couldn't agree more.

When the fireworks were over, Chuck, let us down and we started walking toward the concession stand.

"What would you like?" Shawn asked looking at me.

I looked up at the menu and tried to find something.

"Um, cotton candy." I said with a childish smile.

"Can I have one cotton candy, and a water?" Shawn asked.

The guy came back seconds later with the cotton candy and bottle of water.

"Here you go, and hey, what you did tonight was awesome. You've got some balls, dude. No guy would ever do something like that." The guy from the concession stand said.

"Thanks, I mean what I say." Shawn replied handing the guy the money and walking over to me. I was looking at my phone because my mom texted.

Mom: "where r u?"

Me: "at the fair with shawn."

Mom: "ur not mad about earlier r u?"

Me: "we'll talk when I get home, I love you."

I texted her back and put my phone back into my pocket.

"Who was that?" Shawn asked taking a piece of my cotton candy.

"My mom, and hey man, get your own!" I said throwing a piece of it at him.

"Why when I can't just eat yours?" He smiled.

"You're a dork." I laughed.

I placed a piece of cotton candy in my mouth. Shawn and I were walking toward another ride, it was called 'tilt-a-world'. Shawn took the last piece of cotton candy off the cone thing.

"Open." He said.

I opened my mouth and he placed piece of the piece in my mouth. I took the other piece from him and did the same. He placed a kiss on my lips.

"Tastes like, cotton candy." He said laughing.

We moved forward and got onto the ride.

"How do you even do this?" I asked buckling my belt.

"I don't know, I guess we'll find out." He said smirking

I did respond, I just shook my head. After a few minutes the ride started up. It started to spin and so did our little pod.

"Lean this way." Shawn said leaning to the left.

I did as he said and the pod wiped around in circles. I laughed the whole ride.

"That was fun!" I said when we got off.

"You're suck a child." Shawn said sternly.

"So you did have fun?" I asked.
