I had hurt him. Again and again. Argh! Why am I like this? I saw the hurt and sadness in his eyes. What's this feelings doing to me? I don't understand. I couldn't handle it. It made me vulnerable. Am I being a prisoner of this feelings? You like him Lis but hate to admit the fact.
After he left, I walked inside and found him leaving I saw him thru the window stayed on his car for awhile before he droves away. A tear runs down to my face and I immediately wipes it. I didn't like what I did to him but I still did it. So stupid.
I did say goodbye to Jisoo and the others. Taehyung asked me if I'd seen him but I lied saying no. I went home with guilty feelings.
The following days, he proved to me that he'll stay away. He sat down far from us inside the classroom , He went out quickly after class and he never ate lunch with us. Whenever his friends asked him, he'll just say that he had practice which was true. They bought it but I knew what's the real reason behind. It's because of me. It's because of my stupid thinking. Its because of this stupid feelings.
"I miss Jk, he seems so busy nowadays" Rose uttered.
"Yeah, me too and he seems distance and sad. Didn't you notice that?" Jimin asked while munching his pizza.
"There's something wrong with him. I sensed it" Taehyung said worriedly then eyed me in a bit sec.
This is all my fault. I am the outsider who joined of their perfect friendships. I even ruined it. It's him should be sitting here and not me. I excused myself to go to comfort room. I stared myself thru the mirror. I felt like crying.
I came back seeing him with them, they were laughing. They looked the happiest. I walked to our table.
"Hey Lis! Tomorrow is the footbal tournament, lets go watch it" Jimin said. So he went here to invite his friends but I am not his friend. That's I assumed.
"Right, lets cheer Jungkook, and of course our school" Rose cheerily said.
"Hmm.. I'm sorry I can't go with you guys" I said guiltily. They all looked at me even him.
"Why? Haven't you watched a football game before, it will be lit" rose said cheerily.
"I, I just cant" I said looking down on my lap.
"Is there something wrong Lis? You can-" Rose asked worriedly
"If she can't then let her be" he interrupted.
"Jungkook! Maybe she has reasons" Rose scolded him and he chuckled.
"We always have reasons. Anyways I have to go, I still need to practice. See you tomorrow"
"Whats wrong with him?" Rose asked when he left. "Dont mind him Lis, whatever your reason is I respect it. Its just that we can't cheer together, maybe in some other time" I just smiled at her.
Kim Taehyung POV
I couldn't be wrong, I knew JK for the long time. Whenever he's happy or sad. We've been bestfriends since diaper days. And I really sensed that's something was wrong with him lately and he's not telling me. A week before he was happy then the latter week he's sad. There's a big possiblity that Lisa was involved on his change of mood.
Flashback
"Oh, I forget to asked Lisa what flavor she wanted. Jk can you go back there and ask her"
"Just choose bbq" he said surely.
"Are you sure? And there's no coffee float too, maybe you just ask her" I said teasing him. He rolled his eyes
"Buy her chocomilk. Don't worry Tae I'm hundred percent sure she'll like it"
"You're so confident, huh. Why are you so sure"
"That's what you called paying attention"
"Oh, so whipped" I teased. I bought what he had said and he was right Lisa likes it.
Then during our photography class Lisa got a problem with her chemicals. We're partner so I had to help her and find a way. I looked for some chemicals but Jk beat me on it. He approached me.
"Tae, here" he gave me chemicals. I stared at him.
"How- oh, right, you're paying attention" he chuckled
"Just don't let her know" he pleaded
"Why? You'll get good points" he rolled his eyes. Yeah, this boy loves rolling his eyes.
"You might not pass your project if you says her" Its mind puzzling, I didn't get him.
"Just go and give that to her"
"What will you use?" I asked because he gave his.
"I have an extra" I shrugged
"If you say so whipped boy" I went back to Lisa.
That's why I strongly believe that JK is serious to Lisa. Never in his life pay attention to a girl. I've never seen him like this, were his eyes was twinkling whenever she sees her.
So I have to do something to bring back his smile. Before I went home I waited Lisa in the parking lot. I wanted to ask her. I saw her walking to her car. I called her and she turned her head to my direction. I walked to her.
"Hey" she greeted.
"Uhmm... Can I talk to you?" She stared at me for a while before sje nodded yes. We stayed at the back garden near the parking area. We stopd face to face.
"Maybe your curious why I wanted to talk to you and I think I can find an answer to you. Uhm. Its about Jungkook" her eyes widen when she heard his name.
"Wha-t about him?" She asked gulping. "I- if its about earlier, my apology. I- i really couldn't go. Its my da-d's birthday and—"
"Lis, calm down" I interrupted her. Why is she stuttering? And the guilty look on her face was evident.
"What happened? To you and Jungkook?" I asked directly because I felt that JK's change of mood was about her. Again, her eyes widen looking down fidgeting.
"I— i told him to stay away from me" My eyes widen with her words. I couldn't believe it. My heart aches for my friend, what more when Jungkook heard this. He was hurt so bad. A minute of silent before I spoke.
"Why?" the only word I said. I don't understand why she wanted Jk to stay away from her. I couldn't find a deep reason.
"Because I don't like him" she said bitting her lips. I gulped. Oh, my Jk!
"He was affected, badly. You masked it perfectly. I don't want to say this but I think I needed too. I'd never seen JK paying attention to a girl. He did many good things to you, not to mention what are those but JK always their for you" she stared at me with teary eyes.
"Tomorrow is a special day for him. Can you please set aside your hatred to him and be there?" I pleaded.
"Taehyung!" Oh sherlock! My eyes widen when I heard him.
