Jim POV
I held my breath, my senses on edge. Then a clicking sound surrounded me, bouncing off the walls. I instinctively gripped my sword tighter, and soundlessly clenching my teeth. Then I was knocked back sliding against the closed doors. I blinked back the blurry specks in my eyes and the dizziness in head, jumping up from the rubble. The ground began to shake stifling the far away screams. Then two huge Nyarlaggroths burst from the ground the one to the left screeching a battle cry. I grab my daggers and run up to the one on the left if only to silence it. While making large gashes I jumped onto it's back stabbing my way up the neck. Summoning my sword I thrust it into the back of it's head, killing it. The huge snake like thing toppled to the ground it's head splitting apart upon impact. Jumping from one monster to the other I held onto it's slick back. With one hand I thrust my sword through it's body, all movement of it going slack.

I watched as both disintegrated into dust from the mere touch of my blade. Was that how strong I've become?

Claire POV

I raced along the trees. James Lake sr. tailing me from behind. Why did that jerk run away without me?

"Jim. Why are you so easy to track? To be honest you should be more careful," I muttered to myself.

My gloved fingernails dug into each branch more deeply each time his name respected in my head. I KNOW this ROUTE! I thought as I reached the edge of town.

You're going to be sorry!

Jim POV

"There is something more that we're just not seeing," I whispered to myself as I examined the Nyarlaggroth dust lining the pavement.

I heard the sound of rushing feet through the school halls. Standing up I assessed the damage, to me, and the school entrance. I had several sunburns from being out in the sunlight for that battle, course it wasn't direct sunlight or me and those stupid worms which would've been dead about 15 minutes earlier.

The doors were scattered on the lawn and the cemented wall was in pieces leaving a large, gaping hole. It was by then that students and teachers gathered to check out what had happened. Calling out my friends names I motioned for them to join me under the tree I had ducked under but a few minutes earlier.

They ran full speed towards me. I held my breath for their oncoming questions and theories.

But none came, only the muttering of onlookers and the wind rustling in the tree. I looked up seeing recognition in my friends' faces. All torn by knowing and regret. Fighting my own questions, I sauntered over to the crowd, of course taking the shady path.

Clearing my throat, loud enough, every one silenced and looked to me, awaiting for what I had to say.

"We, have been........ attacked by monster of the dark lands. As you can see they ripped a pretty good hole into the school's wall. However, I strongly advise all of you to be cautious. There is a new enemy. I don't know who or what is behind this but, you, NEED to be careful, lock and shut your doors. Anything you can think of because we aren't out of the woods yet. Please trust that I, the trollhunter, will handle it the best I can."

With that I walked into the shadows, sensing the footsteps of my friends walk quickly behind me.

Thx u guys for sticking around for soooo long. I know I've already apologized but I'm working on it.

Thx for being amazing!
