Paul ran his finger through my hair like he usually did. He was such a sweetheart and even though him and Danny are getting to more famous I’ll always know that I’ll always have him and he’ll be mine for a long time. We decided to watch a comedy before going to bed for the night since I disliked rom coms.
“Babe don’t start the movie yet.”
“What’s wrong?” Paul asked
“Craving strawberries, I’ll be right back.” I tell him as I go downstairs and raid my parents fridge for the strawberries.
I searched through the entire fridge and found none.
“Damn.” I thought to myself. I checked the freezer in hopes of finding some frozen ones and still nothing. I sighed.
“Paul come downstairs.” I yell but not too loudly from the bottom of the stairs.
“What’s up babe?” he says as he comes downstairs
“We’re all out of strawberries, come to the store with me.”
“Alright but only because I love you.” He says and kisses me on the forehead.
We grab our sweaters and go to the car. We head to walmart and pick up two things of strawberries and check out.
“Kailey! Paul! how have you guys been? It’s been forever since I seen you two last.” The cashier said, who just so happens to be an old friend of ours.
“Ashlyn! we’ve been great and I know, we moved out of the country earlier this year to Ontario. How have you been?”
“I’ve been great, going to college in September. Hey since we obviously have a lot to catch up on, how about we all go for coffee? I’m done work now so we can just head over after I change from my uniform.”
“Sounds lovely, we’ll meet you outside the doors.” I say as Paul and I walk out of the store to wait for Ashlyn.
I looked at Paul and all I could do was smile. He made me the happiest I have ever been, he’s been nothing but amazing to me throughout our three years together and counting. From when we started dating and those double dates with Danny and Alex, to our engagement and to now our baby.
“What?” Paul asks as he catches me staring at him
“I love you, that’s all. Always have.” I say smiling.
“I love you too darling.” he says pulling me into a long hug.
After a bit I kiss him and go back to the cuddle type hug. Finally Ashlyn comes out of the store and we head to go grab a coffee.
“So what are you going to college for?” I ask Ashlyn
“Teaching, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and I’m great with kids so I think my job will be a good fit. So Paul, I’ve seen you and Danny have been becoming more famous, how’s that going for you two?
“Well it’s been going great actually, Danny and I are on tour at the moment, we took at two week break because I personally had to deal with some things.”
“Deal with some things? Are you two alright?” Ashlyn said in a worried tone
“Well…..”
