I sat there texting my other best friend Alex, then a shadow blocks the sun in front of me, which causes me to look up.
"Danny!" I say and get off the swing and hug him, we hug for a long while but I liked it.
"Hey, what did you need to talk about?" he said once we were done hugging.
"Let's sit and i'll tell you." I said as I sat back down
"Okay." he said as he sat down
"So I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with me for two weeks." I say trying to keep a straight face
"Where are we going?"
"Uhm just a little place I'd like to call......" I took a brief pause before I told him, I kinda liked leaving people wit cliffhangers
"Called what!?" He said
"Disney World." I said smiling
"Are you seriously asking me to go or is this just a joke?" Danny asked sounding surprised
"This is legit, I promise. My parents just told me."
Than Danny gave me the biggest hug ever
"You are the best! Oh and do you think you could come back with me to help me pack?"
"Sure thing and thanks" i laughed "but can we play here for a bit?"
"Sure thing!, anything." He said
I got off the swing and ran to the slide. The slide was one of my favourite things at the park because it was so high up compared to the rest of them in town.
After running around and acting like a little kid for half an hour, I went over to the grass and laid down then Danny joined me.
"You okay?" He asked
"Yup just a little tired." I say looking at him
We laid there for a while just looking at the sky
"Do you want to get going back to your house now?" I asked him
"Sure" he said than we both got up
We headed to his house so we could get ready for tomorrow.
When we got there, we headed upstairs to his room.
"Okay, work your magic." Danny said than laughed
"Nice try Danny, you're helping." I said "Or I'm going to tickle you bad." Than I laughed
"Alright! Alright.! I'll help, just don't tickle me."
After about ten minutes, we successfully packed his suitcase. Then I checked my phone, it was 8:15.
"I have to go home now." I told him
"I'll walk you half way." he said then we headed out.
When we got halfway there we said our goodbyes,
"Bye Danny." I said than hugged him
"Bye, Kailey." He said as we were still hugging "I'll see you tomorrow."
I let go of him, "We'll be there at 5." I said than headed home.
Once I got home and said goodnight to my parents than proceeded to my room and went to bed. Tomorrow was going to be the start to the best vacation ever.
