Chapter 15

Meggan's POV

What do you expect from a girl like me? no more insecurities? dahil maganda na daw ako, no more fears of being broke? mayaman na daw kasi ako, no more feeling of being alone? madami na daw kasi akong kaibigan, high self confidence? I can have everything but everyone will never know how vulnerably  lonely I am, no offence to my friends they are my treasures but the real point is I want a homy house. A complete family and since I am young all I dreamed about to santa is to bring back my dad in our house. To leave his other family for us. Since we are the legitimate and the real ones. One time I heard my mom and dad talk and actually they are fighting.

"You have a mistress? Esteban! I gave you everything I have but am I not enough?"Mama shouted.

My dad is quiet for awhile.

"I'm sorry if I am not man enough for my words but I am never sorry for leaving you! I love my new family and you'll  find someone better than me."Final words of dad. "Just say to my unica hija, dad will always love him no matter what! and for my son, stay strong i'll love him and them forever."Dad said in careful tone.

Mom is crying so hard.

"You'll never see them again! ever!"

That flash back turned into my everyday nightmare. I don't do relationships and relationship surely hate the shit out of me. But when I met Venice' brother. Everything change, my heart needs medicine feeling ko mahahighblood ako sa bilis ng pump. I caught myself staring at him. I sometimes dream about him. There's this something about him that makes me love who he is and that's being a homy feeling and safe with him. I just realized it when I slept overnight at his apartment. But all of this is trash because he is in a relationship.

"Hey meggan are you okay?"Venice asked.

I nod. I lied. Ayoko lang nag aalala ang isang eto.

"Hindi ka okay ehh! with your looks, ngayon lang kita nakita na stressed ehh. Bakit ba? spill it."She pushes me to tell her.

I give it a try to tell her my real problem, shout to the void that I know will either make Venice feel awkward or pity on me.

"I think I like your kuya."I bit my lower lips.

Nanlaki mata niya.

"No way!"She is shoked. "Sabi ko na ehh! bagay kasi talaga kayo!"She is cheered up.

I laughed.

"Shut up!"That's nonsense.

"No I won't! trust me I like you to be his gf! I know what's best for my kuya."She explained.

I shaked my head.

"Aber, how?"Still laughing.

She winked.

"I have a plan!"

Andito kami ngayon sa house nila.

"Plan na ano?"I asked. "Come on Venice nag kacuting tayo."I reminded her.

She rolled her eyes.

"Duh! mas mahalaga ang bagay na eto kesa sa x ng math natin okay? trust me."She giggled like a highschool girl.

Pumasok kami sa bahay nila. Umakyat kami sa sobrang haba nilang stairs. My gosh naka heels ako. We stopped in front of a grey door. May naka hung na sign bored with Xavier's name.

"What the hell Venice? Sisipain kitang papuntang Italy kapag pinaprank mo ako ahh!"I said.

Umiling siya. Kumatok siya sa door ng kuya niya and before I can say something, the door swings into life. Showing Xavier in his Bench boxer and white sando. I can feel my mouth drying up.

"Hi kuya!"Bati ni Venice.

Yung mukha ni Xavier di mapinta.

"May dare tayo last time di ba? since nanalo ako, I want you to date Meggan and make her fall for you."She smirked.

"Ulol venice! may pasok ka ahh? bakit ka nandito? I susumbong kita kay mama. MAMA si Venice nan-!"Tinakpan ni Venice bibig ni Xavier.

"Sumunod ka sa dare natin or else papakita ko kay mama yung-"Si Xavier naman nagtakip ng bibig ni Venice.

He smiled.

"Okay fine, that's easy, nakita ko na nga nipples niyan gusto mo lang pala mainlove iyan sa akin. If the dare is done what do I get in return?"He asked.

Venice rubbed her chin.

"I'll beg your ex para makipagbalikan sa iyo. Deal?"She said.

I furrow my eyebrow.

"How about me?"I asked.

Venice smiled.

"Put your guards up Meggan, you'll be with this guy for a long time and I guess it's okay na for you. But you know life is unfair. In love tung kuya ko ehh."She scratched her head.

My face drained up.

"Do you think I am up for joining a game when I know for a fact that i'm losing the battle? or let me revise it. Loser na ako."I'm furious.

Venice smiled.

"I know you Meggan enough to  throw this opportunity, it' s not your style."She crossed her arm.

I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever Venice! I'll make something out of it!"I lift my hope up.

Umubo ng fake si Xavier.

"Kinda bullshit hearing you talking like this as if wala ako ahh? Since pwede kami magkabalikan ng ex ko, might as well try this stupid game. I am warning you, Iiyak at iiyak ka."Then Xavier left with a smirk.

My face fell even drainer.

"Don't worry Meggan, I know he will fell for you! I am routing for you!"Venice said.

I lift my brow.

"And so?"I asked.

Lumapit bibig niya sa ear ko.

"Believe me kuya loves disobeying rules and promises and his speech."That left me dumbfounded.
