Nikki's Funeral Plans

a/n: so this isn't the monster chapter that's coming out on **FRIDAY**. but i felt like writing some cute shit.

Nikki lay her pencil on her paper. "So, I've been thinking about funeral plans."

"You're not dying, Nikki," Neil snapped back.

"Yeah, but I have some pretty amazing plans!" Nikki said smugly.

Max raised an eyebrow. "Well, are you gonna share them?"

"Okay, so hear me out. It's closed casket. One of you is giving a eulogy, then you pull a rope, and my dead body is dropped from the ceiling and starts swinging around while What's New Pussycat? plays in the background," Nikki lit up as she described her imagine. Neil and Max gave a worried look to each other.

Then, Max burst out crying with laughter. "Nikki, Nikki... but what will it swing from?"

Nikki tilted her head. "Hmmm... I never thought about that."

"What about the ceiling fan?" Neil suggested.

Nikki gasped, then smirked. "That is perfect."

"I want it to be during my eulogy though," Max joked. "I want to pull the rope and let your dead body swing in front of my face."

"Oh my god," Neil's jaw dropped. "Do you remember when we thought you were dying when we were like 10?"

Nikki giggled. "And Dolph diagnosed me with death. Of course I remember! Every woman remembers her first period."

Max rolled his eyes. "Still, I'm lowkey pissed that you guys didn't believe me when I said there's no way you were dying."

"Whatever, Max. We were 10 and I was excited for my Viking's Funeral," Nikki defended her 10 year-old point of view.

"Jesus, we really were gonna set you on fire, huh?" Neil chuckled.

Nikki snorted. "And then fucking David came in and stopped us. That was so funny."

"Dude, imagine if they actually set you on fire," Max said. "You could've died."

Nikki slapped her knee. "Damn, wish I did."

Neil punched her in the shoulder. "Literally shut up."
