Strip It Down

First Night

That night we were finally getting ready for bed. Finally I had my wife back in our room. The babies were in here in their bassinets. I was around 1215. Kelly was pumping. I had bought a mini fridge for our room and an extra bottle warmer. I was laying there reading my emails.

'Dammit!' She said. I looked over to the chair she was sitting in and she spilled some milk. I jumped up and grabbed a towel. I grabbed the bottles.

"I can't do anything right...." she said.
"Kelly it's okay it was only like 5cc. It's no big deal." I told her.
"It is Luke! This is how they eat! This is their food!" She said crying.
"Shhh baby it's okay there's always formula."
"No!"
"Okay okay." I said.

I finished putting the lids on and went and put them in the fridge while she covered back up. I went over and held her as she stood there.

"I love you so much Kelly. You are doing so awesome" I whispered.
"Thanks Luke I wish that were true."
"Kells it is." I said.  "Let me feed them all night." I said then.
"You have to leave tomorrow for a show it's fine..."
"Kelly I canceled it I was serious." I told her. She pushed me away.
"LUKE!"
"What!?!" I said being more quite than her.
"That's your job."
"You guys are my job I'll get back out there."
"All the fans are going to hate me... "
"Screw them they mean nothing I have you and our kids that's all I ever need for the rest of my life." I said. She pushed her lips against mine.

I was in pure shock she hasn't really kissed me except for a little one every now and then through the day. I started making out with her. She started lifting my shirt up. She had her hands underneath on my back.

Then Savannah started whining. She stopped. I put my forehead on hers.

"I will get us a night or evening away okay." I said.
"Luke I can't leave them."
"Shhhh. It'll be okay. We will talk about it. Now let me go get her so she doesn't wake Dallas" I said. She smiled big

***Kells POV***

He went over and picked Savannah up.

"Sweetheart it's not time to eat yet. You just ate." He whispered. He went and sat in the chair with her.
"Here I'll take her so you can sleep."
"No way. You lay down and relax go to sleep. I will take care of them." He said.
"Luke..."
"Sleep. Enjoy a nice good sleep in your comfy bed you deserve it darling."

He stood up and kissed me.

"I love you and goodnight." He said

He was walking away.

"Let's go get the diaper changed and daddy will sing you a song." He said as he was walking out. I went over to close the door a little.

I heard him humming and I looked and smiled as he walked into the nursery with her. I went back over and laid down. I got under the covers and curled up. It felt so nice being in my own bed.

I woke up to crying.

"Shhh Dallas you'll wake mommy and sissy." I heard Luke saying. I looked and it was light out. I turned to see Luke leaving the room with Dallas and he had the monitor attached to his pants.

Savannah started crying. I went to get up but Luke came back in. He didn't even look over he slowly slipped his arm under Savannah and was carrying them both. He turned to try and shut the door.

"Shit." He said lowly. He looked up and I smiled.
"Sorry to wake you." I got up and went over.

"Come to mommy." I said to Dallas. He sighed.
"Babe it's only 9am. Go back to sleep."
"I'm fine" I said.
"You sure beautiful."
"Yes. You look exhausted. Go back to bed." I said to him.
"Not a chance. It's just us and the kids today mama is bringing the boys back so we can have a family day. Also I arranged for pictures this afternoon since the twins are home."
"Can we not refer to them as the twins..."
"Okay?" He said confused.
"Idunno I just hate that."
"Gotcha beautiful."

We walked downstairs.

"Are their feeding schedules the same?" I asked him.
"No I'm sorry I tried. Dallas is at 1030 now and Savannah is at 1115. It was a long night" he said laughing.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be I love you. Now let's put them in their mamaroos and I'll make ya breakfast." He said.
"Okay!" I said excited.

We put them each in their mamaroos. I sat in there and was watching something on tv. My phone went off.

Jay: how was the first night home?!
Me: I slept all night Luke took care of them😍
Jay: 😍 you seriously did win with him girl. I get he's messed up at time but he's perfect!
Me: he's making me breakfast no before the boys come home... we almost had sex last night 🙈
Jay: whhhhattttt!!! Why almost!
Me: Savannah woke up 🤷🏻‍♀️😩
Jay: are you ready for that again?
Me: so beyond ready! I miss it lol. How's it having mike home since tour is canceled.
Jay: he is grumpy and furious. He refuses to talk to Luke. But I get Lukes point. He needs to be there for his family. All the others get it and are relieved they get time off. Mikes worried about money since he's still building up his account from catering to Emily.
Me: I'm sure Luke can still pay him I'll bring it up!
Jay: don't say I mentioned it please!
Me: I won't!

"Hey darling can you come here if the babies are okay." Luke yelled. I locked my phone. They both had fallen asleep. I walked out.
"Yes?"
"We don't have any chocolate chips for pancakes" He said upset.
"Oh..." I said even more upset I loved and missed his pancakes.
"I'll go to the store." He said
"No it's okay let's get them tomorrow. I'll be fine" I said. I grabbed him by his pockets on his sweats.
"Maybe I can have something else sweet later." I said.

He smiled real big.

"I sure hope so" He said kissing me. Then I heard Dallas. He laughed.

"It's close to that time I think" he said laughing.
"Ugh... we will never have sex again" I said walking away laughing.
