Double Trouble

**Kellys POV**

We had just dropped the boys off at mamas. We were almost at the doctors office. I had my ultrasound then the appointment part. Luke was super nervous. We pulled in an parked.

"Ready to see our little peanut!!" I asked excited.
"How far along are you?"
"Almost 8 weeks babe calm down."
"I'm just nervous we lost two before..."
"I know but I've been super careful with everything let's just go see what she has to say okay."
"Okay...."

We walked in and they took us straight back. I laid in the table like sat next to me holding my hand.

"So this is what number pregnancy for you Mrs Bryan?" The tech asked as she wa setting me up.
"3... I lost the first 2..."
"How far along?"
"The first I was probably 4 weeksish... the second around 6 weeks...."
"Okay. Let's see what we got...."

She put the stuff in my stomach. Luke held my hand. She put the wand on. "There's the little one.... " she said.

"Wait..." I said. Luke sat up.
"What!" Luke said Nervous.
"Is there...." I said the tech smiled.
"And there's another little one... congrats you two are having twins." She said. Lukes face went pale.
"Two....."
"Let's check baby a's heart beat." She said measuring It.....
"156... perfect.... now baby b"

She moved a little.
"152" she said. I was in tears.

"Alright let's get some measurements" she said. I looked at luke. He was staring st the screen.

"How....." He said.
"Shhh.... look at them babe." I said. He looked over and smiled. He stood up and kissed my head.
"I love you so much." He said.

He held my hand tight the rest of the ultrasound. Then the tech took us into a room to wait for the doctor.

I was sitting on the table super excited.

"Twins!" I said.
"Yeah..."
"You aren't happy...." I said.
"Kelly I am over the moon. I'm just worried about you." He said then the doctor came in. 

"Kelly... Luke! Congrats!" She said.
"Thank you!!" I said super excited.

She sat on the stool.

"So Kelly we know that you haven't had the best record with pregnancies. But I assure you that we will get you the best care and everything you need.... now that it's twins that is meaning a lot more... we are going to have you on weight restriction as of now. No more than 15 lbs. clearly no drinking. Uhm let's see, prenatal vitamins. Any medicines on the list I am going to give you are safe for the first trimester. Any cramping, bleeding, you get to the ER right away and get to the maternity unit. One of us is on call 24/7 call us on your way. Any questions?" She asked.
"Is sex safe?" I asked.
"Kelly!" Luke said mad.
"What... it's been 7 weeks since I've seen you...."  I said the doctor chuckled.
"You've has two miscarriages the last thing we need to worry about is sex. ... can she fly doctor? Go to shows? Be on her feet? Travel at all?"
"Yes sex is safe Kelly... Luke your questions, everything is safe now. I'm just worried about the lifting and stress. "
"She won't lift a finger." Luke said I glared at him.
"You won't....I'll have mama come over when I'm on farm tour it'll be fine..." He Said.
"No stress Thomas!" I yelled.

"Okay okay okay." The doctor said.

Luke stood up.

"What's the best prenatal?" Luke asked.
"I'm already taking one a day..."
"Those are perfect Kelly... now for history sake and since it's twins. I want ultrasounds every month." She said.
"Thank you doctor." I said.

We went out and scheduled my next appointment. We walked out to the truck he opened my
Door. I got in as soon as he closed IT I started crying. He got in and started It

"I'm sorry Kells...." He said.
"Just be happy. Look at them..." I said holding the pictures.
"I know I know I'm happy I'm sorry Okay.

We pulled into mamas house. We got out and you could just smell the food cooking. Luke held my hand.

"Have you been getting sick?" He asked.
"Every morning." I said he shook his head.
"Lovely." He said laughing.

We got up onto the porch and she had the door open. We walked in and the screen door slammed. Bo and Tate came running. They gave us both a hug. Mama came around the corner.

"Welcome you two!" She said.
"Hi mama." Luke said hugging her.
"Did you two get your errands done? "
"Uhm... yeah" Luke said looking at me and smiling.

"Dadddy can we tell her yet!!!" Bo asked excited.
"Tell me What?" Mama asked Luke.
"Well boys we have a surprise for you two as well... let's go sit." Luke said.

We went in and sat down in the living room. I was holding lukes hand.

"Is everything okay?" Mama asked.
"Everything is wonderful." Luke said smiling bigger.
"Tater Bug do you want to tell Grandma what you are going to be?" He asked.
"BIG BROTHER LIKE BO!" He yelled.

Mama looked at us.

"Officially? Everything is safe?" She asked.
"We had our appointment and ultrasound today." I said.
"Everything is perfect. Y'all wanna see the pictures?" Luke asked. The boys screamed yes. We had them come over and sit on our laps. Mama came over and sat next to luke. He unfolded the pictures.

"Thomas...." she said.
"Look boys.... there's baby number 1.... and baby number 2.... we are going to be having two babies." He said.
"What!!!!" Bo yelled with excitement. He got up and started dancing around.

Tate got up and him and Bo were hugging.

"Is this safe...?" Mama asked.
"Yes heart rates were good. She does need to be under no stress, and she has a weight restriction of 15lbs. So mama..." Luke starting say she stopped him.
"I'll do whatever you guys need with the boys. I'm so happy for you two." She said hugging us.
