It was a normal day at school, me and my friends were eating lunch when a new girl walked into the room. She had dark brown hair, freckles, and deep green eyes. I swear, the whole world stopped to look at her. She was gorgeous. I looked over at were Zen was sitting and I could tell he wasn't interested. I looked back up and saw that the new girl was walking up toward our table. "Hi, I am Nicole. Would you guys mind if I sat here?" she asked. She has a sweet but shy voice. I nodded my head and patted the seat next to me. We soon all of us were talking and it seemed like we had known Nicole forever. The bell rung and I walked to class. I was surprised to see that a girl was sitting in the seat I usually sat in. I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse, don't mean to be rude but I usually sit here." I said with a cool tone. The girl turned around and I smiled. It was Nicole. "Oh, I am sorry Paige. I will move if you would like me to." she said with a innocent tone. I laughed and then said "It is ok, I will just sit next to you no big deal." James walked in and his eyes went wide "Nicole?!" he asked loudly. She spun around "Ye-JAMES?!" she screamed. She got up and ran up to him, bringing him into a big bear hug. "I didn't know you moved here from California? I have missed you so much!" James said bring her into another hug. "Yea, my dad got a new job so we had to move to Texas." she said smiling. Me and Zen both exchanged a confused look. "We were childhood best friends. We went to Elementary school and Middle School together." James said, clearing up me and Zen's confusion. The two both sat down and started talking, but talking turned into flirting. After many conversations I didn't want to hear the bell finally rang. Zen and I walked to class together talking to each other about what had just happened. Nicole walked in and sat down next to me. "Turns out we have two classes together huh?" she said happily. I nodded and then turned to her "Am I missing something between you and James? Because you guys don't seem like just friends." I said confused. She laughed. "Yes we are just friends, but we have had feelings for each other for quite some time and I know that my feelings have never really disappeared but I don't know about him." A voice came from behind me and I jumped a little. "No he definitely still has feelings for you. James never flirts and I have never seen him so happy." the voice said. I turned around to see it was Zen. He looked down at me smiled and then went back to his seat.

Math finally ended and I went home for the day. I jumped on my bed scrolling through Instagram when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I hollered. James came in and sat on the bed. "I need your help," he said. I sat up "With what?" I asked. After a while James finally said,"I you to help me make a plan on how to ask Nicole to homecoming."
