Nuttree was on a patrol with Smallbolt and Mudspeed. She had already caught a crow, which was pretty cool since she hadn't ever caught one before. The patrol was just walking around until Nuttree smelt a familiar smell. "Kittypet!" Smallbolt growled. Nuttree remembered why the smell was familiar. It was Milo, that kittypet she had met once! Mudspeed sniffed the air. "You're right. I'll go check it out" he meowed starting to pad forward. Nuttree's heart pounded. Milo was soft, and Mudspeed was not. The outcome was obvious to say the least. "N-no!" She meowed. Smallbolt and Mudspeed stared at her. "And why not?" The brown tom asked her. Nuttree thought quick. "I... I've never seen a kittypet before! It would be a new experience for me." Mudspeed seemed to think about it. Smallbolt glared at her. "Why? Mudspeed's more experienced than you. He could take out a kittypet in one blow!"
"You can go, Nuttree."
Smallbolt looked at Mudspeed giving him a look that read "what is wrong with you?"
Nuttree nodded. "Thanks, Mudspeed! I'll be back as quick as possible."
So she hopped to it, pelting towards the fence. It reeked of twoleg, but Nuttree was alright with it. So she saw him sitting there, balancing his weight on the beige fence. He looked a bit charming; his fur tidy and neat. "Oh, uh, hey! Nuttree, right?" He meowed sheepishly. Nuttree gave a little chuckle. "That's my name. Yours was Milo, wasn't it?" She asked, though she was pretty sure of the answer. "Yeah, yeah. I... I should come down, shouldn't I?" He asked. Nuttree nodded, and he did so. "So, nice weather we're having, isn't it?" He asked her; it was clear that something else was on his mind. "Sure. My friend Snowstorm really likes the snow." Nuttree mewed. Milo flicked his tail in discomfort. "So... there's something I... wanted to tell you." He hopped off the fence and in front of her. Nuttree sat down. "W-what is it?" She asked him, her heart pounding. "I... I sorta... kinda..." Nuttree felt as if her heart was going to jump out of her chest. "...like me?!"
Milo jumped back. Nuttree accidentally said that too loudly.
Though Nuttree adored the thought of someone loving her, it was definitely strange a kittypet she had only met once before would be that someone. "But you barely know me!" She exclaimed once she saw him nod. "Well, I uh... I don't know how to put this... I sort of do?" Nuttree squinted her eyes in confusion. "No you don't."
Milo looked uncomfortable. "Well, I'll try to put a long story short."
"So me and my friend Tony know how to climb trees. Your uh... GreenClan is surrounded by trees, so naturally, we saw you and your friends a lot. I saw your personality, and I... I just... fell in love, I guess."
This was a lot for Nuttree to take in. Basically, this grey fluffy tom had been stalking her? "Okay, that's kind I've weird, I've got to say." Milo looked uncomfortable. "I know, I know. Just please... hang out with me sometime?" Nuttree was a bit hesitant, but he was pretty cute. "Oh, alright. How about I'll wait here sometimes, and you come out? Or vice versa" she suggested. Milo nodded. "That... that sounds cool."
Just as he finished saying that, a twoleg started yelling. "Milo!" It called. Nuttree felt a bit on edge knowing a twoleg was so close. "Sorry, dinner time" Milo mewed. "See you around!" He climbed the fence and disappeared.

Nuttree arrived back at camp. She thought maybe she could visit Snowstorm. So she padded towards the nursery cheerfully. She went through the ivy entrance. It kind of comforted her. "Nuttree!" A high pitched voice loudly whispered. She looked down and saw Leopardkit gazing up at her. Nuttree smiled. "Hello, Leopardkit. I was just going to visit my friend. She's having kits" she explained to the striped kit. Leopardkit smiled. "Okay. I'm kind of bored. Can I come?" Nuttree shook her head. "Sorry, but I'm sure Snowstorm will be really tired. We'll hang out later, okay?" Leopardkit pouted. "Please? I'll be quiet!" Nuttree knew she couldn't count on that, because Leopardkit was already being kind of loud. "No, Leopardkit. I'm sorry. I'll see you later" she said, turning around to walk and to not see Leopardkit's disappointed expression. She didn't see Snowstorm, but she did see Brownpaw. "Brownpaw, where's Snowstorm?" She asked him. Brownpaw put some herbs he was carrying down and spoke. "She has just finished giving birth. I helped her."
"Oh, alright. Where is she?"
He pointed with his tail. Nuttree nodded. "Thanks, Brownpaw!" She meowed, seeing the white fur of her friend. She headed that direction and came to her. She was sleeping. Nuttree sat down and watched her and her tiny kits stir. They must have been born only a couple of hours ago. Their pelts were still a little wet. There were three kits. One was white with a light grey marking around her nose and light grey legs. Another was light grey with dark grey paws and a dark grey tail tip. The third looked exactly like Darkenedfur. The only difference was that he had fluffy fur. That kit reminded Nuttree that Darkenedfur probably would want to see his kits. Snowstorm wouldn't like that.
