The next morning, I woke up with Newt's arms around me. I smiled, and closed my eyes. I wished that we could stay like this forever, but I knew it would have to end sometime.

I stayed put, because I didn't want to wake Newt up. He hadn't slept much while I was out, and he could finally sleep peacefully again knowing that I was okay.

It was light outside, and it was past breakfast time. All the Gladers were out working already. It was nice that I would be able to take a break from running for once. But I knew that when I was back on my feet, I would have to go into the Maze again.

When Newt woke up, he looked much better than he did last night. His hair was still messy, but it was cute like that. "Good morning." I smiled. He wasn't fully awake yet.

"Morning." He mumbled, putting his face into the pillow. He was obviously still really tired. I laughed, and sat up.

"When will a Med-Jack be here?" I asked him. I felt fine, but Newt shot up.

"Why? Are you feeling okay? I can go get one right now." He worried, but I just shook my head.

"No, no! I'm totally okay. I was just wondering." I said. He gave me a look saying he didn't believe me. I realized he must've been thinking about me waking up dizzy and lightheaded, and lying about being okay. "For real this time. I promise." He got to his feet.

"I don't care. I'm getting you a Med-Jack anyways. I need to make sure that you're okay." He said. Before I had time to stop him, he left the room. I sighed. It was good that he cared, but sometimes he cared a little bit too much.

When Newt came back again, Clint was with him. When he saw me, he smiled. "Good to know you're awake." He said, coming over to me. He looked me over to make sure I was entirely okay. He asked me a couple of questions, which helped him try to figure out what happened.

"Well, I know you barely ate at all while you were taking care of Ben. And then you were skipping breakfast. At lunch you were barely even eating half a sandwich. So my guess is that you weren't eating enough, which caused you to get dizzy. But then when you hit your head on the wall of the Maze, that probably made things a hell of a lot worse." He concluded, and I nodded.

He gave me a glass of water, which I quickly drank. I was very thirsty.

Clint left, and Newt sat down next to me again. "Hey, Newt.. Could you get Minho for me? I want to see him." I said, and he nodded. He got up and left.

After a few minutes, Minho entered the room alone. The first thing he did was walk over to me and give me a hug. "Nice to have you back." He said, pulling away. I smiled.

"It's great to be back. So, how did things go?" I asked him.

"Good, as far I know. I had to take some time off from running to take care of Newt." He said, not meeting my gaze. It seemed a bit like he was hiding something.

"Wait.. Why? Was he sick, or something?" I asked, concerned.

"Well, Newt's had some... Problems, in the past. I'm not in the position to tell you, he should be the one to tell you. Anyways, I was just worried that he would do something that would be unchangeable." He sighed, and I could've sworn I heard him mutter "again..." under his breath, but I couldn't be sure.

"Ah, okay.. Well, I'll see you later then, hopefully in the Map Room!" I smiled, and he returned it with a weak, forced smile. "Wait.. What's wrong?" I asked, puzzled.

"Because of some.. Uh.." He hesitated. "Medical concerns.. You may not be a Runner anymore. I mean, it' still under investigation. I'll let you know, though." He said, and left the room before I could stop him.
