  "What on earth--Sirius!"
The supposed murderer bowed. "Yes, 'tis I!"
She sighed, a hand coming to her face. "Get inside before you're seen."
Once he'd made himself comfortable in Addelaine's kitchen, he chuckled. "I hope you don't let every escaped murderer into your kitchen."
  "Oh, no. Just you. "
  "Good! I'm still special to you."
Addelaine sighed again, taking the bread from Sirius' hand. "Why are you here?"
  "To see you, dear Lainey! I shouldn't stay long, but how could I pass up a chance to see dear old Addelaine Ramirez?"
She was nearly sputtering. "But you - and I'm - and we - UGH!"
Sirius was chewing on the bread again, smirking.      
  "Seems I still render you speechless, Darling."
Addelaine glared, her brown eyes cold. "You're an absolute toe rag."
Sirius nodded. "Suppose that's why you shagged me?"
She slapped his arm. "Sod off. Why are you visiting? If I'm just a shag?"
Sirius cringed, searching her fridge for milk now.
  "You know you weren't 'just a shag', Lainey."
She shrugged, hopping into the counter. "Wasn't I? Isn't that what you always told him? 'James, settling down isn't me! She's just an easy shag.' Or did I mishear?"
Sirius was staring at her now with an unreadable expression. "Maybe I was wrong."
When she stayed silent, he added, "I don't like commitment, you know that."
  "Neither do I! It would have been nice if you called me your girlfriend, though. Like I was more than a shag buddy."
  "Look, I would change it, if I could. There's a lot of things I'd change... But I can't."
And suddenly he was standing before her, leaning in, and they were snogging.

Just like old times, I guess.
