Chapter 18

Sebastian stood up and walked to the door. Stepped aside letting in a very upset looking Adam.
"Ness i just got off the phone with Brandon. It seems that the detective who was in charge of this case was getting a few calls from people in town that they have seen Steven hanging around in town and asking questions about you"
" Im sorry Ness but i think he has been keeping track of you"
"Brandon asked me to tell you to stay put"
"We don't know why he's trying to get to you"
"But if we play it right, there is a chance we may get to finally catch him" Adam finally paused and knelt down in front of me.
"He has to pay for what he did to you and your family" the image of my dad comes to mind and I knew that i should do this.
"I'll do anything to get him to pay" I said with new determination rising in me.
"Will you guys please explain so i can help in any way i can" grumbled Sebastian from a corner of the room where he was watching all this happen. Adam stood up to say something but I stopped him and held onto his arm.
"Its ok Adam we need all the help we can get. And after everything i think we can include Mr. Sebastian in our plans. But let me explain it to him please" i give him a hug and a kiss on his cheek.
" I don't know what I would do without you"
Adam smiled and kissed me back. And gave me wink.
"I know right you'll be lost as a kitten"

Adam was about to walk out when someone knocked on the door again. When he opened it in came a guy with a tray of food. Sebastian stepped forward and pointed to where he wanted the tray kept and thanked him before he left and closed the door.
"You had a very eventful day and you should eat something. Come on" he said holding out his hand to help me to the table. As soon as i stood up my legs felt wobbly and but the smell of the food made me so hungry i tried to take a step but almost fell over. Sebastian was right beside me holding me around my waist almost carrying me.
His arm around me felt so amazing. So warm and comforting. I almost forgot i was starving.
I leaned in closer making myself more comfortable. And took in a the smell of his perfume. He even smells better. The thought made me blush. When I looked up at him I realized he watching me all this time. I didn't know what to say but he gave me a smile and nodded towards the chair.
"Lets eat something shall we" and we both sat down to eat.

Couple of minutes passed while we were silently eating every thing on our plates. It was really good. I was just smiling with no reason i was feeling relaxed and comfortable even though we have met only a few times. He made me feel calm. And it felt good. Sebastian cleared his throat and look his way.
When our eye met he had the look that i was getting way to fond of. Sebastian stood up and walked towards me. Knelt down in front of me and took my hand in his. He raised my hands to his lips and kissed them so softly. I just then knew the real meaning of butterflies in my tummy. It felt like a part of me was flying. And i loved it.

"You look so beautiful when you smile. Let me be the reason for you to keep smiling" Sebastian said still holding my hands.
"Give me a chance Ness. I can make you happy. Let me help you through your pain and give you reason to happiness "
"I...I " is all I could say before Sebastian bent down and kissed me on my lips his lips against mine were so soft and so yummy my resistance flew out the window.
Sebastian pulled away reluctantly with a smile.
"Now that was something I wanted to do since the first time i saw you walking into the elevator"he give peck on my lips again and stood up.
I was feeling disappointed. I wanted more. But I remembered what Adam told me once about him and his playboy ways. Am I making a big mistake. I don't know. But I definitely want to make the right choice this time.
"Sebastian i don't know. Maybe we should've kept our distance since having so much trouble and I don't think its a good idea to get into another relationship so soon." I started when Sebastian stepped close to me and pulled me to him
"Don't start pushing me away now. Lets give it time. And put our minds together on your problem. Then decide what you want to do with me. I will not leave you now" he said dropping a kiss on my forehead. And i nodded. Thats the best thing for now.
I stepped a way from him and walked towards the window.
" you know years ago when i was in college i met this amazing handsome guy who worshipped the ground I walked on just so he can destroy everyone in my life." I started telling him every single detail of my horrific past.

Sebastian was next to me when I looked away from the window to see the man who was silently listening to every single word i was saying.
"Nessa i had no idea. I cant even imagine how much you have been through. When i lay my hands on that freak he wont know what hit him" Sebastian pulled me closer and held me while my tense body started to relax again.
"I will get him Ness I promise. I will get him for you" Sebastian squeezed me tighter
" I wont let him hurt you ever again "
