CHAPTER 21

" Hello " Silence,

"Who is this" i asked again afraid to hear what might come..

"HELLO VANESSA " finally the voice came through.. i got chills and felt week..
I felt a hand on my shoulder.. and i looked up to see Sebastian towering over me. And i felt relieved and stronger..

"Who is this" i asked a bit shaky at first but got control and sounded confident..

"Dont you remember your husband " he said with a laugh that was chilling..

"I want to see you, i want to talk to you" steven said.

"Havent you done enough.. i have nothing more, so stay away from me" i said angry and shaking.

" i want to meet you and i have something to say"

"There is nothing i want to hear from you so dont call me again, leave me alone " finally breaking not able to hold it anymore.

"You little bitch we have unfinished business.. after you plastering my face all over the news i have been having a hard time living low. And im sick and tired of running away.. so im coming for you."
Steven said angry.. Sebastian held me close as soon as he hung up.. i just stared at the phone and sat there..

" It gonna be ok, we are gonna get him. I promise " Sebastian voice is soothing helping me to calm down..

"I have the police tracing all calls coming in on your phone, hopefully that was enough time to get him"

"Im sorry that you have to go through this ness.. we are here for you.."

"Thank you, im really grateful for both of you."

Adam walked upto where we sat and asked what happened and Sebastian explained while i sat quietly..

"Adam stay with her while i make some phone calls" Sebastian said and walked towards his office.

"Nessa" was all Adam said..

My phone was ringing again with a unknown number i was to scared to answer Adam reached out and i gave it to him..

"Hello this is Vanessa's phone. She cant come to the phone right now can i take a msg"

" No thanks, but dont you think your standing too close to my wife" and he hung up..

"What the hell" Adam said pulling me up and dragging me as fast as he can to the third floor"
With eyes wide i was letting drag me as i knew something was up

Next thing i know we were in Sebastian's office. Sebastian was on phone call and looked up.. when he saw the two of us and the look on our faces ..

"Alex, look into it and let me know " and hung up. Coming around the table he asked Adam what happened. When he explained Sebastian rushed to the phone..

"Alex, i think he's here.. i want you to try and locate that number ASAP"

Sebastian came towards me and asked me

"We need to get to the security room, see if you can recognise him anywhere "
I nodded..

" i hope this will be the end" i said with a sob.

"I cant take this anymore"

We went out to the security room and some other unknown people to me joined us there.. Sebastian greeted them and explained a few things..

"Alex has sent them for us" he explained to me.

"Lets check the footage of today and let me know if you see anyone you know " he explained again..

We were going through the footage for ten minutes when i suddenly spotted a man with a hoodie on a call looking towards the area we were sitting earlier.

" do you think that could be him" i looked at Adam.

"But its hard to recognize who it is, we should continue, maybe we will see more" i said and everyone agreed..

Looking through the screens hoping and prying to find something..

Looking through a bit more but nothing.. he was gone.
That didn't help much i thought feeling disappointed.
