A second, it was just that one second when somehow something made him turn around to look at the person who caught his attention. Wide smile on exuberant face as the other chatted with his friends without a care in the world. So different from him and yet something just attracted him then. The older turned away, continuing on his way to the library in order to check out some books for his upcoming group assignment.

A minute had passed where they were taking turns introducing themselves to the director and casting manager when recognition flared in his eyes as he finally saw the younger across the room. At the same moment, the other also caught sight of him and did a double take at the uniform before waving tentatively. He returned the wave awkwardly before stepping up to the microphone to start his own introduction, the constricted feeling in his chest lessened when the other gave him two thumbs up in encouragement.

An hour started with awkward laughter in attempts to cover their embarrassment over certain cheesy lines in the script as they practiced together, waiting for their acting coach who was stuck in a worse than usual Bangkok jam. As the acting coach have still yet to arrive, they both started chatting, getting to know each other a little better, both knowing that their chemistry together are pivotal to the roles that they play, both learning something new about the other, realizing that one isn't as confident as he seems, and the other not as dull as he seems. Both gained a deeper understanding during that one hour, somehow both still very different but still so alike at the same time.

A day like any other day, nothing special about that day as they both met at the lobby before their meeting scheduled for an hour later. One had already ordered coffee for both of them when the other arrived. The much needed caffeine kicks in not too long after he took the first blissful sip of cold brew, the contented expression on his face drawing a laughter from the younger. He turned to face the other at that, and it was that same wide smile on exuberant face, same as that first time but this time it was directed to him. His heart skipped a beat.

A week, that was how long they didn't speak. It was abnormal from their constant communication over the phone, messages, social media to radio silence. Both were busy with their own respective projects, that itself is not unusual and wouldn't have caused this silence. This radio silence was born of perceived hurts and lengthened by male egos. Both stubbornly refused to be the one to give in even if it felt like one is biting his tongue out of spite.

However it did not mean that they are not aware of what is going on in each other's life, be it from hints to their managers, casual mention of the other to friends or the stalker like perusal of each others' social media platforms to get their daily fixes of each other. It was when the older saw the post of an intravenous drip in the other's arm and him looking so pale and haggard, he dropped every pretense of not caring and rushed to the hospital. At that moment, he knew that he cannot fool himself anymore on how important the other is to him.

A month of planning, thinking, coordinating and over planning some more. He had this grand idea in his mind on how he can first test how deep are the affections the younger have for him, how even though he is more than half sure the other returns his feelings by now, there is something still ridiculously comforting to hear that voiced out on top of their actions. He had a grand idea of post affirmation from the younger, they can wine, dine, date and obtaining the eventual label of boyfriends before slowly moving to the label of lovers. His face flushed a little at the thought of that, to be able to unreservedly call the other man his.

Late one night, he opened his front door to a fidgeting Krist. The younger looked up at him with slightly lost eyes before steel resolve came over and straightened his spine. His hand reached across to grip the back of the older's head before firm lips met. Shock quickly turned to more as they tentatively tasted each other, not really their first time, not since they have kissing scenes in their series, but their hearts never beat more frantically than now, this is not Kongpob and Arthit but Singto and Krist.

When they finally parted, foreheads on each other's, breathing each others' scent in, the younger softly whispered "Be mine?". A wide smile appeared on the older, his month long planning, thinking, coordinating and over planning went down the drain but he have zero issues with that.

A year barely passed when he dropped the question, asking the younger to move in and live together. He didn't care that it might be too fast, even though they had known each other for years, they are in a relationship for a much much shorter frame of time. All he cared about was that he just want to come home to him, to wake up next to this beautiful creature, to have meals together, to laugh, to cry, to argue, to just be with the other regardless of the highs and lows.

His question was met with silence before a sheepish look appeared together with a stack of pamphlets featuring apartments near to both their work as well as his school. No answer needs to be given as it is as clear as day that the younger is irrevocably in love with him as he is in love with him.

An eternity together did not make it into their vows. They promised to care, cherish and love each other through sickness and in health. They did not promise each other an eternity because it is far too lonely if one leaves before the other and having to spend an eternity without the other. They both wishing the other to be happy even if they are not around anymore. They promised that in this lifetime together, they will be steadfast in their feelings, and in the next lifetime, they will meet again and continue their love story.
