You never really minded the presence of Armin, he wasn't a bad guy or anything. To be honest he was one of the people you were closest out of the whole regiment. He was smart and yet so kind, an attribute not many people had. If someone was as gifted as him, usually they'd get all big headed about it and shove it in peoples faces. That kind of behavior really annoyed you. That was probably why you enjoyed this group in specifically so much, no one was a bragger. The only time that kind of stuff really occurred was when Eren and Jean were trying to one up each other. You and your friends all agreed that that kind of behavior was actually welcomed, especially from those two. It just brings you all back to when you were still training with each other in the camp, hoping to attain dreams that now seemed foolish.

"Well, I should probably get packing, especially since the mission starts tomorrow." Armin said, giving you a slight nod,"I'll see you later... go get some rest. Tomorrow we'll be out all day."

You smiled back at the male and copied his actions, giving him a nod of gratitude, "Thanks Armin, you be sure to get some rest yourself okay? I don't want you falling off your horse or something like that while we're traveling." You let out a small laugh remembering about how Armin wasn't all that proficient in riding horses back then.

The blonde laughed along with you for a bit before giving you one last wave, now walking towards his room. You continued to keep eye contact with the male, waving until he was no longer in your field of view. Your hand then dropped to your sigh, a tired sigh escaping your lips. The day had barely even begun and you already felt so tired! That definitely wasn't a good sign.

You then began to walk towards your own room, your hand now stuffed in your right pocket. The plan for today was to just pack up for the journey tomorrow then relax and rest up like Armin said. There really wasn't much else to do after that anyway, unless you were feeling like aiding Hanji in her most recent experiments.

As you walked towards your room, you heard something that you didn't expect to hear at all. Was that Levi?

"L/n, I need you at my office right now. You can pack up later." He commanded, his gaze an icy cold.

You slightly shivered at that, an uncomfortable feeling now spreading throughout your body. Why in the world did he want you at his office? Was it about the mission or something else? You gulped, following the male without question, happy to be behind the male instead of in front. His presence always seemed to unnerve you for some reason and it wasn't the good kind. You always felt like the male could read you like an open book and that really scare you. You never liked it when people knew your intentions and thoughts before you even revealed them, it gave you no sense of privacy.

The dark haired male opened up his office and held the door opened for you. As soon as you walked in, he closed it, your eyes widening when Eren and Erwin had come into view. Since those two were there, then they probbly wanted to discuss more about the mission.

"I promise that this'll be quick Y/n," Erwin said, nodding in your direction, "We just want to know what path you were planning to take to your home. It'd be convenient for us to know, just in case something actually did happen."

Sprawled across Levi's desk was a map of the area, specifically the one of Trost and all of the surrounding area. You walked over to the table and looked at all of the possible routes. There was one commonly used road that was already marked, but it was longer than the route that you'd taken.

You grabbed a nearby marker that lay on the table and began to draw a line of the path that you preferred to use. It wasn't a popular path since it went through the woods, but if you were able to survive it, the whole squad should have no problems.
