You sat there on your bed, eyes glued on Eren with curiosity. Why in the world did he want to talk to you? Sure, you've had a few small chats here and there, but that was always out in public, with an audience and with others around you to carry on the conversation. You didn't know why having conversations alone, compared to having them in public made such a difference. It just felt so much more...intimate, it was weird.
"About downstairs," Eren repeated, bringing his hand to the back of his head, "I know what you might feel like. Probably not everything, but just a bit."
You looked at him with eyes slightly wider than before. Why was he telling you this? Was it because of how you reacted earlier? Was it that obvious that it had bothered you? You didn't want to be known for being some kind of drama queen....
"You probably remember about how much I wanted to be a part of the Survey Corps when we were still in the training camp. I remember always talking about it back then, all of you would always call me crazy because of that." He let out a small chuckle as he revisited those moments in is head, "Those were the good days...Anyway, I've been wanting to join the Survey Corps ever since I was a kid. My mother wasn't all that crazy about that idea though as you can probably guess, she would tell me the kinds of things your mother's telling you right now...I'm guessing that you're probably feeling a bit embarrassed, especially since she said that kind of stuff in front of the others. If you're anything like me you may be a bit angry as well. You seemed to be pretty bothered down there so I'm guessing that's the case."
He let out a small laugh at that before looking back at you with a calming smile, the moonlight that shone through your blinds reflecting off of his deep green eyes. You had to admit that it was at that moment that the male seemed most attractive.
"Just so you know, none of us are going to judge you on what happened out there. Okay?" He asked, cocking his head to the side lightly, his eyes looking at you for an answer.
You were kind of surprised to hear that the male had come up to your bedroom to tell you something like that. It was nice...to see that your friends were a tad bit worried about you, even though it was over something as small as all of this. You looked back at the male and nodded, flashing the male a smile of thanks. "Thank you Eren, that means a lot...really." You said, genuinely hppy that the male had come up to consult you personally.
He nodded his head, his eyes revealing how relieved he was to see that you were doing okay. After that, her proceeded to stand up and strechted his limbs, letting out a small breath of relief. "Well then Y/n, if you need anything...I'll be downstairs alright?"
You nodded your head, well aware that the male probably wanted to hang out with the others downstairs. You didn't want to keep him up with you against his will. Not only that, but you didn't mind just having some time to yourself. There was no doubt that your mother would probably question your behavior and bring the topic back up. Definitely not something you wanted to continue. "Sure! Uhh...thanks again, for coming up here and everything."
The brown haired male looked over in your direction, flashing you a grin before opening your door and walking downstairs to meet up with the others. The male disappearing from your room just like that, leaving you to your own thoughts.
After that, you just sat in your bed, thinking about what had happened so far and how all of this might turn out. You hadn't expected your mother to being something like that up before. If she was willing to question something like that in front of your friends, what else did she have in mind? You hated the way that everyone's eyes were on you, it was like they actually questioned weather you would give up right then and there. Did they really question your loyalties? Sure, Eren had reassured you that there was nothing to worry about, but you still did anyway.
