Its sad how he never noticed
How she hid her scars
How she never looked him in the eyes for fear of her eyes showing the real her and not just the girl she pretended to be
How she always sat alone, never with someone by her side
He only saw the real her once
Her blood was draining out of her wrists
Once her eyes were losing their spark of life
Once she really looked him in the eyes did he regret himself for not knowing the girl in front of him
