He said
"I love you too but I can't do this anymore." She said, pain evident in her voice.
What she wanted to say was " I can't live without you, I need you."
But she couldn't cause she knew their love was toxic, so toxic that it'd hurt everyone they cared for so she let go
She let go of the reason she had stayed alive
She let go of the one thing that made her happy
She let go of what she had come to love with all her heart
She let him go.
"I don't want you anymore!" She screamed
He left, but he knew the reason why she did that, she loved him.
They never moved on, they spent their days wishing to be with each other but deep down inside they knew they couldn't.
