This time around
We shouldn't have let go
Maybe this time around, letting go was the wrong choice
Maybe it was all a test
To see how strong our love was
To see if we could survive in the bloody and ruthless war called love
We did what we thought was right
If only we knew
That we were meant to be
That all we needed to do was fight
Fight for us
But we didn't know
We were young and naive
We let the world's cruel hands carve our fate
Unmercifully tear it into pieces
While we stood and watched.
