Another World.

chapter 9.

It was as if the time was mocking me. One minute felt as at least ten. I sighed. Math ended in thirty minutes, and I hadn't done a single calculations, my mind was occupied with curiousity and worries about mine and Jai's second date.

Finally, the lesson ended. I walked to my locker to see Jai standing there leaning casually against it. A huge smile spread on my lips.

'Hello handsome, still not telling me where you're taking me?'

'Nope, it's a surprise' he said teasingly.

'Fuck you, I hate surprises..' it was true, once my mum and dad decided to throw me a surprise birthday party, I ended up crying running away. I even shuddered at the thought of it.

'Really? he said frowning. 'I promise it'll be OK babe' he smiled, and I couldn't help but to smile back.

We arranged so that I was going home to get change clothes, then he, and I assumed Beau would come and pick me up taking me wherever Jai was planning to. Once I got home, I ran up the stairs to my room. Jai had told me put on something 'nice and warm'. I decided to  go with a navy blue maxi dress, and put on black cardigan as well. My hair was messy from school, so I put it in a tight bun. I re-did my make up as well as it had faded during the day. I also added a little purse where I put my cellphone, keyes and wallet. That would do. I ran down the stairs, told my mum quickly where I was going, and she did not object. Just as I was tying my low white converse I heard a car honking the horn. I got out and saw Beau wave at me, smiling. I was smiling too; and I sat down in the free front seat.

"'Sup Lex?' said Beau grinning.

'Where is Jai taking me?' I immediately asked.

I saw Jai give Beau a threatening look. He was wearing a striped shirt and a tie, and looked as gorgeous as ever.

'Can't tell ya, promised my lil bro' to keep my mouth shut this time'

'That's right' said Jai.

'You guys are the worst' I said grumpily, and they just laughed at my bitterness. I couldn't help but smile too.

We were driving in to the city of Melbourne, and Beau stopped by the canal. I had some suspicions, but I didn't dare speak. 

'So, my mission is complete' Beau said. 'Now it's up to you two little love birds to-'

'Oh shut up' said Jai, but I just laughed nervously.

'Thanks for the ride, Beau!'

'Anytime' he just smiled,

Jai took my hand and led me to... A boat. Or more like a yacht. My Jai dropped, and I just gazed wonderstruck at the big yacht. 

'What the...' my voice trailed away.

'You like it? Thought we'd have a cruise and get some food, lighten up your monday.'

'Like? Like?! I love it Jai! this is just so... wow...' He led me on board with a 'welcome onboard, milady' as he did a little bow. I giggled. If anyone else had taken me on a date like this, I had probably laughed them in the face, asking him what the fuck was up with this cringey romantic shit, but with Jai... it was just perfect. He was perfect.

The inside of the boat was just as astonishing, with chandeliers hanging from the roof, and dark wooden panels.  A waitress led us to a table for two out on the deck. 

We got a three-course dinner, and everything tasted delicious. We had talked about everything from siblings to where we would like to go in the future. I just finished my desert when Jai said:

'Alex, you're not like any girl I've ever met' He kept his eyes looking steadingly in to mine. 'you're special...' He leaned in closer over the table, and our lips met. It was as if a fire was spreading; and every fibre in my body was yearning for more. I had never in my life wanted someone so bad. The kiss grew hotter and deeper, I put my arm around Jai's neck, pulling him even closer... When he suddenly broke off, chuckling at my disappointment.

'We'll save some for later, alright?' He said smiling teasingly.

'I love you' I said wihtout thinking. 

sooo, this was chapter 9, finally! had to rewrite it since my computer crashed yesterday. please tell me what you think alriiiight! xx

(p.s, idk if they have a yacht in melbourne, but now they do, so yeah.)
