Another World.

chapter 15.

My principal had been going on for ages it felt like about our little incident, telling us how we embarrased our whole school with our behaviour. I didn't say anything except 'yes, sir', 'no, sir', 'I'm sorry sir' My head was throbbing like hell and I was still so fucking angry at Jess and the others. I felt dizzy. Jai just sat beside me stroking my shoulder. Our principal told us we'd all get one week detention, and that he'd call our parents and arrange a meeting.

'And I also suggest that you, Alexandra go on anger mangement therapy'

I woke up from my angry thoughts harshly.

'Wh-what?' Jess was smirking. 'No sir, I don't think that's necessary, really' Jai was now stroking my hair soothingly.

'Yes, I am afraid that such behaviour needs to b-'

'Alex!' Jai suddenly screamed. He held his hand in front of me and I could see it was all covered in blood. He looked at me with terrified eyes. I couldn't understand how he could've possible hurt his hand when it hit me. I felt with my hand on my backhead and looked at my hand, which was now covered in blood. 

'Oh. I'm bleeding'

Next thing I knew Jai was standing in front of me, his hand on my shoulders looking me in the eyes.

'Lexie, are you OK?'

'Yes, Jai, I'm fiiine, no need to baby me.' I said just before I threw up on his shoes.

'EWWWWW!' Kaitlyn yelled.

I was in the hospital. I had gotten I quite severe concussion and needed to stay at the hospital over night for observasion. I had also gotten five stitches. Mum had first been furious at me for fighting in school but then her mummy instincts took over and she was worrying sick about me and cursing under her breath for those 'nasty girls' who had pushed me over. Luke, Beau, Alice, Lea and Andrea had all been visiting me during the day. Luke did a impression of my fighting and he arranged the others to play different parts as Jessica and the girls, he was playing me. Jai gave him dissaproving looks but I thought it was funny. Also the rest of my family had been visiting me. Lily cried because she thought I was dying, bless that child. Jai had been by my side all the time except for a visit to the toilet and to the cafeteria, which he did in a rush, and he apoligized for going away, and wouldn't believe it when I said it was totally OK, and that he could go home and sleep, he simply refused. So we had the nurse arrange an extra bed for him. 

Mum was looking at Jai with a peculiar expression on her face. She walked to my bed and kissed me on the head. 

'I'll come here tomorrow at lunch, and if there's anything else, call me.' She kissed me on the forhead. She lowered her voice.  'And hold on to that boy of yours'. She winked and  left the room.

'And Alex, remember, we still have to ground you, at least for a week. Although I'm impressed with your right hook, fighting is not acceptable in school.' My dad was smiling, but I was not.
