chapter 16.

JAI'S P.O.V

She looked so peaceful as she was sleeping softly in the bed. Eyelids fluttering slightly. Everyone lying in a hospital bed, no matter what conditiont they were in looked so fragile, even Alex, who always looked so strong, like nothing could ever get to her.

The monitors connected to her was beeping. I checked my clock. In about ten minutes a nurse would come in and check on Alex to see if she was OK, it was standard procedures when you got a concussion. I hadn't slept anything, I could feel my eyes stinging, but I didn't want to sleep, it felt like something bad would happen to her if I did. The nurse finally came in. She gave me a look  couldn't quite register; a mixture between pity and warmth. Alex woke up, confused yet again, but she quickly calmed down.

'Go to sleep Jai' she said as the nurse left the room after telling us her values were looking fine.

'No, it's OK, I'll stay awake.'

'Spoon with me?'

'Lexie you know I can't with the nurses coming every hour' 

'Then we'll have one hour' she smiled. I couldn't say no.

I sighed.

'You're impossible to deal with, women'

'I know' she smiled. I lay down behind her, being careful not to touch her head. I breathed in the smell of her hair and put my arms around her waist. I could feel her shiver.

'You know I love you, right?' I mumbled.

'Yes I do know that. I don't understand why though, but you have no idea how much I love you.' She slowly turned around facing me. She was so beautiful. My heartbeat got faster and a desire to just touch her came to me. I quickly despised the thought. She. Is. Sick. This is not the time. She touched my cheek and I felt my cheek heating up. I leaned in and kissed her softly, trying to control my emotions. She answered with more enthuiasm then I expected. Her fingers were already tracing my under my shirt. Yet again it was as fire starting inside my body. The kisses got deeper and hotter. 

'Lex, I, we... can't' I panted  between the kisses. 'You're hurt'

'I don't care Jai, I'm fine.

Even though I knew that this was a bad, bad, bad and incredibly irresponisble idea considering her state, I coudn't resist, every fibre in my body wanted her.

she quickly undid my zipper, this wasn't her first time, I could tell. And even though it was mine, I wasn't nervous, everything with her just felt right.

I slid her panties down, and she took off her hospital gown.  

ALEX'S P.O.V

We were naked. His brown beautiful eyes staring at mine, filled with lust. He kissed me on my neck and I pulled him closer until he finally thrusted in to me. I was digging my nails in his back, trying not to make a sound.

I fell asleep in his arms.
