Zach's POV

"Why didn't you tell me this Jack? We're getting married in 4 months and you're just telling me this now? This could affect our whole future together," I shouted. My fiancé Jack just told me that he doesn't want kids, but he knows that I would love more than anything to have kids.

"Well was I supposed to tell you when we were a month into dating? When we didn't even know if we were in love?" Jack shouted back.

"No, but it would've been nice to know soon after we got engaged, then we wouldn't be in this position right now," I shouted as a tear trickled down my face.

"Are you saying that you would break up with me?" Jack asked with tears in his eyes.

"No Jack, I didn't mean it like that," I said, a little bit quieter. Jack grabbed his car keys and started putting on his shoes. "Where are you going?"

"I need some time to cool down, I'll be back later," he said then left. I sat down on the couch and cried, I cried until I didn't have any tears left.

A few hours later I was still sitting on the couch, I was shaking like crazy and I had a blanket around me.

The door opened and Jack came inside, he saw me and walked to me. He sat down beside me and hugged me tightly. I was still shaking and I started crying again, Jack held me tighter and kissed the top of my head.

When I finally calmed down Jack placed a gentle kiss on my lips.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't realize how much this meant to you, and I realized that if we had a kid anything like you then I'd be blessed," he said with a smile. I hugged him tightly and he kissed my head. "I love you baby boy."

"I love you too," I said into his neck, still crying. I pulled away and Jack cradled me in his arms while we watched a movie on t.v.

*after the marriage*

Jack and I adopted a 5 year old girl named Karley.

I was laying in bed beside Jack sleeping when I felt someone tap me. I opened my eyes and saw Karley at my bed side.

"What's wrong baby girl?" I whispered.

"I had a nightmare," she replied quietly.

"Do you want to sleep with me and daddy?" I asked. Karley nodded. I picked her up and put her in between Jack and I, she leaned her head on my shoulder and I played with her hair until she fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and Karley was still sleeping on my shoulder, Jack woke up just after me.

"Good morning baby," he said as he yawned.

"Shh," I said with a small giggle. Jack looked at me confused then saw Karley asleep, he smiled then kissed her forehead. Karley opened her eyes slowly and stretched her small body, she smiled at us and I hugged her. "I love you baby girl," I said quietly.

"I love you too dada," she replied. Jack hugged her when we pulled away.

"Good morning princess," he said then kissed her forehead.

"Good morning daddy," she replied cheerfully. I laughed slightly then kissed her forehead.

"Who wants pancakes?" I asked. Karley started jumping on the bed.

"Me!" She shouted. I laughed lightly then got out of bed, I threw on a shirt then walked downstairs. I started making the batter and I got the pan ready.

When the pancakes were done Karley and Jack were already downstairs, I got them each a plate with two pancakes and maple syrup then I got myself a plate and sat beside them at the table. Jack gave me a quick kiss and I smiled.

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you too," he replied.

"Ewwwww, love," Karley complained. Jack and I laughed at her then started eating. I love my family so much.
