Zach and Jonah. Jonah and Zach.

They've been a long distance relationship for three years. Three years in 6 days to be exact.

Zach lives in Texas, and Jonah lives all the way across the country in Minnesota.

The two boys miss each other so much, and they FaceTime everyday. But lately Zach has noticed that the FaceTime calls are getting less exciting. Jonah doesn't seem to love him as much anymore. Jonah never says 'I love you' and he never seems to smile. Zach's worries about this, but brushes it off as stress.

Zach looked down at his phone with a smile as he saw Jonah FaceTiming. He immediately picked up.

He saw the familiar brunet boy that changed his life. His beautiful eyes that Zach adores, his soft hair that Zach likes to run his hand through. Everything about Jonah adores Zach in every way possible.

"Hi baby," Zach welcomed.

"Hi love," Jonah replied. "How are you?"

"Eh, Good. I miss you a lot," Zach said sadly.

"I miss you too bubba."

For the next hour the two boys kept talking with each other, about school, family, or anything else they could think of.

It was finally about 10pm when they decided to end the call.

"I love you Zach," Jonah said with a smile. Zach's face lit up and a smile spread across his face.

"I love you too Jobear," the younger boy replied.

"I'll call you tomorrow, ok?"

"Ok, bye."

"Bye baby."

Zach hung up with a smile on his face and went to bed.

Zach woke up and felt something in his bed beside him. He rubbed his eyes then saw.... Jonah?

"Wh-What?" Zach mumbled.

"Hi love," Jonah said gently. Zach smiled then hugged Jonah tightly. Zach started crying into Jonah's hoodie as Jonah held him tight.

"Why are you here?" Zach sobbed.

"I missed my baby too much," Jonah replied.

When Zach eventually calmed down the couple sat up on the bed. Jonah pulled Zach closer then pressed their soft lips together.

Zach gently wrapped his arms around Jonah's neck to pull them closer to each other, Jonah gently placed his hands on Zach's hips.

Both boys smiled, they enjoyed this moment, it doesn't happen often.

The boys slowly pulled away and placed their foreheads together.

"I love you Zach," Jonah whispered.

"I love you too Jo."

Zach awoke from his sleep and quickly checked beside him. No Jonah. It was only a dream.

Zach laid in bed until his phone started ringing. It was Jonah FaceTiming him.

Zach answered to see Jonah on the screen, he didn't look too happy.

"Hey bub, what's wrong?" Zach asked gently.

"I need to talk to you," Jonah answered. Butterflies filled Zach's tummy as he got more nervous.

"O-okay, what about Jobear?" Zach asked.

"I-I think we should break up," Jonah said slowly.

"Wha- Why?" Zach asked, tears filling his eyes.

"I uh, the distance between us is just making everything hard. We never see each other other than FaceTime, it's getting too hard to be together. I'm sorry," Jonah said slowly. A few tears fell onto Zach's cheeks as he nodded gently.

"O-okay, goodbye Jonah," Zach said with his head down.

"Goodbye Zach," Jonah said then hung up. Zach dropped his phone and uncontrollable sobs left his mouth.

The love of his life is gone.
