Luke was dumbfounded.

Jasmine's words continued to haunt him throughout the next three weeks as he contemplated them. His brain analyzing them over and over, trying to find an answer that clearly was not there.

What did he want with her? Why was he treating her as such?

Was it because she broke up with him all those years ago? Because she found out about his infidelity? Because he missed her?

Or maybe it was because he was angry that she let him treat her like that when she clearly deserved better from their very first date. Jasmine had always deserved better.

Luke closed his eyes and tipped his head back against the back of the couch; he had at least half an hour until the band meeting, he could take a short nap. He hadn't gotten much sleep since the movie premiere, his brain too busy contemplating Jasmine's words and their relationship.

Where he went wrong and how he could go back and fix it.

If he even could.

Luke turned over in bed, arm reaching out to other side of the bed, reaching out for her.

Her body was warm against his cold hand and she squirmed and squeaked when he touched her bare back, grinning as she tried to move away from him. Luke chuckled to himself, sleep fading as he reached for her again, this time to tug her closer to him, her back hitting his bare chest with an 'oof'.

"Luke," she whined, "you're cold."

He shrugged at her comment and nuzzled her warm neck, brunette hair getting into his face but he didn't care. He breathed her in, loving the way her body molded to his; like they were perfect for each other, meant for each other. Two puzzle pieces fitting together.

"Now you know how I feel when you use me to warm yourself up all the time," Luke mumbled against the skin of her neck, sucking at the delicate skin.

She squirmed against him again. "That's not true! I would neve-"

Luke suddenly rolled the two of them so that he was on top of her, her wrists pinned above her head as he loomed over his girlfriend, a playful glint in his blue eyes. "Oh, you wouldn't?"

She looked breathless as he began to kiss and suck at her neck, her back arching into him as his morning stubble rubbed against her sensitive skin, earning him a moan.

"I-I would never, oh, do that to you, baby." She panted as he kissed her, her hands tugging at his to be released.

Luke pulled away suddenly and she whined, pouting at the loss of contact. Luke simply quirked an eyebrow at her, "really, babe? Because that's not how I recall last night."

She frowned, trying to remember when Luke pounced. His hands were at her sides and under her knees, tickling her everywhere. She squirmed and kicked out, giggling relentlessly at her boyfriend. "Luke! Luke, dammit, stop!" She managed between giggles as Luke avoided a kick to the ribs.

"I love you." Luke reminded her, as he stood up to go shower.

Jasmine rolled her eyes and flipped him off, snuggling back under the covers, "dick."

The heady scent of bacon pulled Luke from the bedroom after his shower. And there she was, standing in their kitchen in one of his band t-shirts cooking bacon. The TV was on with the news on mute as music played in the background. His girlfriend was humming to herself as she flipped the bacon mindlessly, her hips swaying sensually to the music.
