Had a day that actually felt like the old days in the mythical community. Tried out a popularity subliminal (Sorry not posting which one. Every time I link a subliminal either to here or Discord it gets taken down within a month and I'm starting to get a tad suspicious.) and had loads of people say hello to me including someone who had a chat to me about one of my favorite video games even though it's fairly obscure (System Shock remake).
I also found out that Maximum Ride has a manga style graphic novel series after finding one of said graphic novels in a charity shop. I opened it to a random page and it was when everyone who read Fang's blog revolts against Itex and saves the world. The graphic novels only go up to the 5th book which is fine because I think that's when the series should have ended anyway.

Sitting on the bus reading my book. I look up and utter chaos has broken out: The driving instructor got into a fight with the driver of a different bus and also got into a fight with a drunk guy who tried to bring a can of beer onto the bus, a woman is pushing someone out of the way to get a better look at the fight, another guy randomly starts shouting and two teenagers start shouting things trying to encourage the fight.
11/8/26 The New Forest
Found out about the New Forest wildfire last night and that one really hurt. It's something that's nearly always mattered to me but it's the first time it's felt personal. The New Forest was on my list of places I always wanted to visit. It was the setting for a book series that was a huge part of my childhood. It was the place where the stories and rumors about a witch witch coven which lead to the founding of a new religion are from.
I thought I'd given up on caring about climate change after many recent revelations of how awful certain people are and that the masses just let them get away with it all but the world is worth more than that. If there's something you can do make sure to do what you can.
