New Prime Minister to be signed in on Monday. It's been said that he is going to follow the 2024 Labour manifesto from the last election (Which I actually need to read properly because I've only been following certain things) but that's what everyone always says.
Posted a meme on reddit making fun of the fact that "Do your work and try your best and you can be whatever you want" only applies if you want a family or a normal career and not if you want to be the kind of person in my favorite books and shows (despite the fact that they don't mention that part until it's too late) and people actually got really mad that I would reject having a family or normal job and find another path.
Probably ought to explain that bit but A it's not what I want and B because almost everyone does it you already essentially know every major event of a "normal" life and the fact that more people don't try to write a unique story is astounding.

Sigh... Got into a bit of an argument today with two (not really strangers but not really friends either) people at the bus stop and rather than saying what I actually thought I just said some vague stuff to end the argument. I wish I would stop doing this. If I said what I actually thought/wanted in person then maybe I'd be more likely to get it.

Genuinely had a perfect day today! I went back to one of the seaside towns I mentioned before and there's these woods right next to the beach so I went on a hike to the next town over to see what was there. Had fish and chips in that cafe (still the best fish and chips I've ever had) and when I was walking back there was a house clearance going on and they gave us two lion ornaments for free.
Also I've heard that the new Prime Minister wants to get rid of the digital ID thing to pay for something else which might be the end of the social media saga hopefully.
