on the way back home, me, aksel & alex are in backseat, with ani and brandon in front. brandon has yet to say a word to me, non surprisingly. I rest my head on alex's chest as I press post on the photo. I feel compelled to turn off my phone, but I don't. I mute it as the stars in anaheim barely illuminate the car. ani is rapping along quietly to an eminem song, and aksel joins in to sing the female parts.

once we pull up to kwites place I was half asleep on alex, so he gently shakes me awake and we all head inside. the others got a headstart, so they're all passed out already all over his furniture. I grab my sleeping bag and set it out on the floor, as brandon, ani & aksel claim couch spots. everyone is pretty silent. I think we were all too tired from today to really be up and at it. I see alex head to the bathroom, and I look at the post.

holy shit, okay, its blowing up. mostly all good comments. I look at the one with the most likes up top.

I smile, curling up and almost falling asleep before I feel alex crawl into a big blanket on the floor next to me. I scoot closer and he wraps his arms around me. it doesn't take me long to fall asleep after that.

"vidcon thots," I wake up to a water bottle being tossed at my head. at least ani is keeping me hydrated. I just wish she would do that WITHOUT beating me senseless with water bottles every morning. 

"ashfkfhbfjk" is the closest guess as to what came out of henry's half asleep mouth. ani chucked a waterbottle at his head and he tumbled off the couch onto pyro. I open up my phone and adjust myself to lay flat on my back, and alex's almost totally asleep arm wraps around my stomach. I look through the comments on the post of my face, immediately remembering that oh yeah; I fucking showed my face online consensually for the first time. the replies to alex's comment are extremely mixed.

as soon as I check my tagged posts I smile. so many people have done fanart of me. i'm genuinely so overwhelmed. they drew me a lot prettier than I actually look though. I grab my glasses from the one tiny table next to the couches as everyone starts to get up. I attempt to get up but alex is like a weirdly strong teddy bear. "ani, can I get a little help" 

a water bottle gets chucked at alex's head. "VIDCON CUCKBOY." he springs awake, blushing as ani looks between us and smiles. the others flood out to get their things. "so when did this become a thing?" she smiles like a cartoon bunny. ani is one of the cutest humans alive to be honest. 

"maybe last night." I smile, as alex props himself up. 

"well don't let it distract you at vidcon, now that everyone is gonna be recognizing you, chloe." ani says. "I'm really proud of you."

"thanks ani. i'm proud of me too." 

ani leaves us to pack our vidcon backpacks, and the bathroom gets overtaken by the boys. it's just me, alex & hyojin raiding the kitchen. the others disappeared somewhere. "mere," alex says, whipping out his phone as we both sit up on the couch. I cover part of my face with my hand as he takes a semi blurry photo of us. I watch him start to put it on his story. 

"scribble my face out." I say, going to the drawing tool & x-ing out my face with red. 

"then how are they gonna know I have a girlfriend?"

"you wanna go public?" I gulp. I'm fine with it. I just totally thought alex wouldn't be. he's a pretty personal person online compared to in person. even through text he hates divulging into details because of hackers. 

"obviously. we're cute as shit." He gives me a look, erasing where I drew over myself. I smile as he hits 'send to story'
